I love Renee!

OK. She looks natural here. Or, be the eccentric aunt. But if that bizarre get-up she wore to the Golden Globes is a statement about her personal aesthetic, then the solitary pursuits are probably her best way to go. Between the frozen curly hair-do and Victorian/Goth cut-out gown and transparent exposure of her Carolina Herrerras, she just comes across as trying too hard. And her posture may be intended to be dramatic but it looks artificial and unattractive.

Good for her. Kenny Chesney was making bootie calls to my sister in Cincinnati while he was on tour and he was not publicly broken up with Renee Zellwegger. They may have been separated and it wasn't public yet but since they were only married 4 months, it would still have been inappropriate. What kind of a guy would humiliate someone like that before it's even public. I tend to think he was quite active with the ladies and she realized it after she married him. She kept quiet and had dignity. He was willing to use the publicity. He had a 2 month sex fling in Cincinnati, dropped my sister when it got boring, then called her up, out of the blue, and he was still married. He's not an impressive guy to me. And my sister was surely one of many.

If she wants to do all those wonderful things, why not just go and do it? Go live in France, tighten up on French, study political science and American History, and so on, and worry less about whether or not she'll find someone to date/marry/etc. I'm sorry to say this but it may very well be that she, and countless other women, may never find a decent guy to settle down with. So many scoundrels out there that it's a tad harder to find a guy who is the right fit for you.

Who cares if you do not want to marry? How about helping people who are losing their homes!
