Yes, you're more likely to recover when you've got a lot of admirers praying for you. God looks more favorably upon those admired by many, as opposed to some non-celebrity who doesn't have near as many people praying for him. Must be why those starving kids in Africa don't seem to get the same blessings from God. One of the perks of being a celebrity I suppose.

I believe Travis is feeling this way more than DJ because they where Travis's close friends and he is really torn by that as much as his physical pain. And people act like they cant get that. DJ can walk away from this but it seems Travis is really doing alot just to cope with this new reality of his body and the lost of his close friends. It will be hard for anyone for Travis to talk to anyone about this crash without the memory of his friends and that says alot about Travis Barker.

Geez people. Some can be really harsh. I can't stand people who obsess over celebs but I will tell you when I heard what happened my heart broke these are people who I followed and are a fan. Hearing and seeing all the tapes and reports made all of them more real then ever. They were no longer these people in celeb world but real people crying and screaming for help for the 4 on the plane. I love Travis Barker but hearing his cries showed him for who he really is and not the ideal of who I think he is. He and DJ are walking a path I would never want to be on. They are in my prayers. Chris was like a little brother to Travis. In all reports Travis never says 2 of my friends are on the plane he says 4. He really understood 4 people he knew even if the other two just that night and begged for help for them as well. The guilt those two must have for making it out and just to be here and them be gone must be unreal. What they went through and witness most of us will never understand. Lil Chris family needs some major prayer. His mother and father lost a son 31 days before in motorcycle wreck. How does a family recover from such a huge loss of not only one child but two in the manner that it happen. Lil Chris and the other three family needs prayers because they leave loved ones behind. It does get over looked for a minute because what is done is done and you can't bring them back and people tend to reach out to the ones who are still here but healing. No son or daughter, mother or father, sister or brother should have a loved one meet such a fate like this. I just truly hope Lil Chris brother was with him and took him home. God Bless all of them pray for the ones who still are here and the families who have lost their loved ones.

They go on and on about what the survivors are going through and then they just throw in that some other people actually F%@*kin died. Pay a little more attention to those who have died. Travis will recover, the others won't

Please pray for Chris Baker's family (Travis' assistant), this is such a tragedy for his family. He lost his step brother just less than one month ago. My prayers go out to all of the families of the victims and good luck to Travis and DJ AM.

if any one read the actaul news on this the other guy already released a statement that his wife was NOT expecting and that is not why they got on the jet. Yes dj am and his wife have a 2 year old but the news stated that they were not expecting an arrival. Hope that they recover. That was a mistake and it was said by a so called friend of dj am. But not true!

I think it is really serious, TMZ says AM's face was burned and Travis' lower body...sooo sad. Regardless of their hollywood status it is a very tragic event.

I live in Augusta, Ga and the hospital that they are being treated at has the best burn center. My prayers go out to the family members of the people who were killed in this tragedy. Hope Travis and DJ AM make a speedy recovery. Hopefully this tragedy will bring the families of all the victims dead or alive together. Get well soon.
