Um, to this person at 1:14am and 1:13am who keeps making the same posts over and over again, you do realize that he's been broken up with that person for 4 or 5 years and that according to him it was a mutual breakup. You do know that don't you? I am pretty sure he's over that by now especially since that's the fourth time they broke up and they act like best friends for life with each other. And another thing, what point are you trying to make with your repeat comments? That he's not gay? Why do you care what people think? How much time did you spend on this issue? It had to have been hours of going back and forth and repeating the same exact statements. I just read most of the comments, not all since there are 200 something, and it's like the same person over and over again copying the same exact information. You are either one dedicated fan or one obsessed fan. Either way it's weird. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, but I do think it's very weird that you care so much.

To the poster at 6:47pm, you made some good points but I just wanted to point out he never dated Kate del Castillo; that was just a rumor. :)

As for my opinion, I don't think anyone can argue one way or the other that Ricky is straight or gay. Only he and the people in his inner circle know the real answer to that question. It's his business. It is for that reason that I choose to focus on his wonderful charity work and not his personal life. I will say however, and I'm sure I will be bashed by all the Ricky fanatics, but the fact that he has had many public girlfriends means nothing. Just ask George Michael. He had several girlfriends as well.

Here's my 2 cent's worth:

1. Rebeca de Alba certainly didnt carry the twins. There are plenty of pictures of her over the past 9 months to prove otherwise.

2. Rebeca de Alba is over 40, which means the viability of her eggs has decreased drastically. Therefore I do not think she donated any eggs. An anonymous donor was used through an agency.

3. The guy at the beach... well if you had bothered looking at the rest of the pictures you would have seen that there were 2 women accompanying them of which one was pregnant and posing with that guy as a couple. So I sincerely doubt he was gay.

4. José Vega as Ricky's partner... allow me to laugh!!! Joselo may have dedicated his life to Ricky and his career, but he is just a friend and earlier in Ricky's life somewhat of a father figure.

5. As for the gay issue, it doesn't matter what Ricky or anyone else says because so many people are convinced he is gay. However consider this list of girlfriends: Rebeca, Kate del Castillo, Ale Guzman, Adriana Biega, Ines Misan, an Indian beauty whose name I cannot remember, a Japanese girl whose name I cannot remember and probably several women we have no idea who they are.
Also consider the fact that there has NEVER been any "boyfriends" spilling their guts in the papers which would definately had been the case if he was gay. Money buys everything!

OK I am off the soap box, congratulating Ricky on his fatherhood and wishing him every happiness with the little tykes.

And to those who do not think this news is true. It is, it was posted by the Fan Club President, who is an old friend and also an employee of Ricky's on the Fan Club forum.

estrella- luna: I don't know who you were addressing with your comment but it's not Rebecca's eggs. I understand you are trying to argue he's straight but think about it: if it were her eggs, and if he was so in love with her as you claim he is, don't you think that woman would have been with him as soon as the story broke about him getting twins instead of running her mouth about him on television as usual? They aren't her kids, thank God.

Is it true he got his cousin to carry the twins for him? The rumor is she gave birth to the twins, but he used someone else's eggs. I thought his publicist said he didn't know the person who gave birth to the twins? If it is true he sure did go through a lot of trouble to get them. Interesting.

I am very happy to see that u guys/gals over @ US Magazine have changed the way this article was written/posted originally. It was offensive, juvenile and unnecessary. I don't care if he's gay or not he is still gorgeous!!!!! And it's wonderful that he is taking time off to spend with his children...Way to go Ricky.....

There is no point in arguing over this person's sexuality. The fact remains that only HE and the people close to him know the truth. No one here making these comments know the real him, and memorizing all the quotes and public facts in the world about him is not going to change that. He could be gay and no one here can argue differently, because the fact is these defensive people don't know him. The same goes for people that want to argue that he's gay and not straight. Again, no one but the people in his inner circle know for sure. It's stupid and a complete waste of time and a life to take this man's personal life so seriously. Why argue with someone else's opinion? What does this do for you? And the fact that he had a girlfriend and supposedly made some quotes about how straight he is means nothing (referring to the person or people repeating the same few posts.) Ask Lance Bass and George Michael. They all had girlfriends and they both denied the rumors. So in reality, your "facts" mean nothing. My advice to those people and to everyone else is to focus more on his music and great charity work and less on his personal life, which is none of anyone's business. And no, I'm not arguing he's gay. I'm just not going to argue that he's straight either. I don't know him and I don't care enough to argue. The same should go for everyone else.
