Twilight's Robert Pattinson Headed Back to London to "Hide Out"

 Steve Granitz/WireImage.com Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson -- who says he went "completely deaf" from screaming fans -- is looking forward to mellowing out in December. "I think I'll go back to London for a bit, and hide out," the London-born actor told Usmagazine.com of his post-premiere plans at the Gucci/UNICEF event in NYC on Wednesday. But Pattinson, who plays sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the book-turned-movie (out Nov. 21), is in no huge rush to leave the U.S. "Here, in America, you feel like you are actually doing a proper movie!" he told Us. See photos of Twilight stars at the premiere! When the flick opens in the UK on December 19, "I'll be curious to see [how it does]," he told Us. "It's been so huge here, who knows how they will enjoy it," he said. Meanwhile, does the single star have any female celeb crushes he'd like to work with? "I'd like to work with a lot of them, but not because I have a crush on them," he said. Pattinson revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that no one wants to get in a relationship with him. "People like screaming at me," he jokes. "Actually, they like screaming at me in relationships as well. No one wants to commit." See photos of other single stars. Can't blame him for wanting to go back to London and hide out, I'm a bit embarrassed by the way he was treated here in the States. I don't know why people behave that way, do these young twits honestly think that he will hear them screaming his name, turn, their eyes will meet and he'll whisk them off their feet? Dream on girls. WOW I honestly don't think he is hot, hes average. I believe he looks better in the movie then out of it. I think all these obbsessed girls are just obbsessed with the idea of him being a vampire an so devoted in the movie to bella none of them take the time out to think it was a movie, he said what he was told to say. Only someone who has been with him would actually know how he treated a women. I also think the person above is right, no one went this nuts over him in the other movie, that should tell everyone something like what i said above vampire, devoted, its just a movie! I also think that pic above is a terrible one of him

I feel sorry for poor Rob. Surrounded by so many screaming fans; yet appears so lonely. All everything talks about is his "sex" appeal or looks. That's so shallow....hmmm. Anyway, I hope that he finds someone who likes him--for who he is and admires his talents (musician, actor, singer, etc.) rather than his physical appearance.

ok,if robert pattinson is so hot, how come no one was drooling over him when he played cedric diggory in harry potter?If it wasent for twilight(were he accidentaly found himself)and the girls who were desparately looking for a physical representation of edward cullen he'd still be an ugly nobody.i mean look at him whenever someone tells the man that he is handsome or anything lyk that, he looks lyk he's been told that there are cows on the moon.He doesnt believe it himself.

Wow. I thought he did a great job in the movie and he was strikingly handsome....so, (out of boredom) I figured I would look him up online. Then I run into this site where hundreds of freaky 15 year olds are confessing their undying love to the man. No wonder he can't get a date! It is hard to see the possiblities through a forest of crazies!

I'm so glad (as a fellow Brit) that Rob is actually known and doing well for himself because of his talent rather than other Brits who are known for scandal (Amy winehouse, Lily Allen need i say more....) Plus it helps that he is drop dead gorgeous!

Guys I like Rob and Kirsten a lot as an actor.They were so great in the movie! I think its perfect!! I dont think its right to judge Rob because we dont know him personally..As a fan of twilight i do support them and the upcoming movie " new moon" anyway it helps me a lot to get me unwind,smile and stress out watching movie and i feel happy afterwards while facing the reality of my busy job the next day..Rob is only human and not perfect at all..lets just support him.Go ROb and Kirsten!!!

People-first of all he was born in 1986...get it right please!!! second of all dont go knocking the book if you will confuse reality vs. fiction!!!! come on people...it is a book...it is a great STORY...and that's all it is...A STORY!!! NOT REALITY BUT A STORY! i believe in Stephanie Meyer and her work fascinates me. If you think the Twilight Saga is about rape and what not then you really need to read her other work!!!! It is a story....wake up!!! WOW PEOPLE!!! chill out..yes he's good looking, cute, hot, sexy whatever else people want to call him...but he's human after all. i know everyone on here has at least to be between the ages of 12 and 20 or something like that...but uhmmmmmm for that one girl up there that was obsessing over him...WOW...good to be a fan but don't be an obsessed fan now!!! people in general don't like when someone's obsessed about them so i don't think rob would either! anyways...robert...we appreciate all the talents you have shown us fan, both acting and music wise, and we all cannot wait for new moon (amongst your other productions) to come out. as far as the single life-there's always that one person that will be waiting for you whether it is now or in 20 years. you will know when you meet that person whether she is the one or not. focus on your career...you have already made it big so far! keep it up! and everything else will start to unfold itself when the time is right! good luck with all your new productions and a happy new year!! =)

alright opinionated..read and comprehend right? so what did the book says? did it said?.. though the body stops at 17 but the mind keeps goin older? i dont know if theres something lost in translation in your book...harharhar!!!its perfectly clear that edward remains 17 in mind and body..there's no pedo issue really..never a word indicates in the book edward is a matured adult..or old one who knows wisdom like any ancients would be..harharar and another thing before the sex..it was clearly suggested there to do it the right way..maariage first before sex..now theres the values that exist...tch! tch!! opinionated..

Hmmmmmm, cloning would give him more free time now wouldn't it ;) Ok...ok, so he is sex on legs, but it's not just that. It's the way he carries himself, the way he speaks and relates to people is just so unpretentious. He is so modest and reserved you can tell he's come up in life and not started out rich or on top. The books are cool. If you really are worried about the whole young girl-old man in a teenage body thing, then you might also think that vampires are supposed to be frozen at the age they are turned (yeah, I know vampires don't exist).
