Ryan Reynolds finished Sunday's ING New York City Marathon in 3 hours and 50 minutes, faster than he thought.

"I am going to allow three to four hours for my scary marathon face to go away and then I am going to eat my body weight in raw dough," he told New York's Daily News as he collected his medal.

Reynolds, 31, ran for Team Fox, set up by Michael J. Fox to raise money for Parkinson's Disease. (Reynolds' father has suffered from Parkinson's Disease for the past 15 years.)

"When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 lbs. in goose bumps," he said. "It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so!"

During the more than 26-mile course, he said, "I thought a lot about my father and about Michael while I was running. I'm running for those who can't."

(Reynolds was met by his mom Tammy at the finish line. His wife Scarlett Johansson -- who was out campaigning for Barack Obama -- was cheering him on the road somewhere, he told reporters.)

Reynolds wasn't the only celeb who ran: Howard Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky finished the race in 4 hours, 15 minutes.

"Isn't she beautiful?" Stern gushed as daughter Ashley, 15, also hugged her stepmom.

Stern, 54, who married Ostrosky, 36, last month, made his wife a carb-filled breakfast of bagels stuffed with peanut butter and bananas before the race.

"She ate a ton," he told The Associated Press.

Their post-marathon plans?

"We're going to celebrate with some sushi and some pasta," she said. "A lot of sushi and pasta."

How did she get through the race?

Said Ostrosky: "I just kept thinking about seeing Howard and Ashley on the finish line."
