Samantha Harris to Join The Insider

 Todd Williamson/WireImage.com Samantha Harris will join CBS's The Insider, Entertainment Tonight tells Usmagazine.com. Harris, best known as co-host of the ABC show Dancing With the Stars, will be a correspondent and substitute anchor for the show, starting Monday. Harris was previously a reporter for E! News and led coverage of the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys. "We are thrilled to welcome Samantha to The Insider team," Linda Bell Blue, the show's executive producer, said Monday. "She is a smart, focused, beautiful addition to our family that comes with an incredible Hollywood resume. The work she has done and the rapport she has earned is something to be admired." I wouldn't count on her departing Dancing with the Stars. Tom does America's funniest home videos & the Show. He also hosted Hollywood Squares. I don't know who'd be a good interviewer for Dancing with the Stars if she's left. Except Christie or Marie.

I can't stand to watch DWTS because of her fake broadcasting voice. Not to mention the way she purposely holds her elbows out to ACCENTUATE her arms drives me crazy. Look even in the photo above. I was so glad when she was on leave from DWTS....and how she shoved her pregnancy/kid down our throats. I am thankful that I don't even watch The Insider. Why can't she get a job where I don't have to see or hear her????? She is annoying and I have a right to my opinion just like everyone else does.

Hey, 8:31, anyone who can throw her 1-year old a lavish birthday party at a spa is not hurting for money. Her wealthy husband certainly helps. I'm sure they have no problem putting lobster and caviar on their table when people other places in this country are starving and jobless.

She must have contacts --- to get a job as a correspondent/substitute anchor. She doesn't really have the right skills to be a interviewer or host. Her voice is just not that pleasant to listen.

Ugh. Harris may be beautiful, but she is neither smart nor focused. She can never keep her interviews backstage on DWTS straight, and she stumbles badly half the time. She is an airhead, and she's always been the weak link on DWTS. I wish they'd cut her, and I wish other people would stop employing her. She totally sucks. Post new comment |
