I as any parent knows,children are a gift from god. it is sad to read some of the writings on this blog. For all of you out there that claim the race card as defense for whomever you support in this sick game that is playing in your minds,i implore you to step back and think. Children see no color and neither should we. I recently sold balthazar restaurant in vancouver and i for one can tell you that my committment was always to fight racism in the nightclub industry. I decided to buy it because as a man of colour i was labeled and made to wait in line as others that were not my colour were allowed in at the will of the bouncers. I did not get angry and start using the race card and not allow people into my establishment because we did not look the same or share the same beleifs.. Um, if you watched the Afterglow Live DVD, you would know that her friend that supposedly "killed herself in 1998" is seen in an interview with her on her boat. She elaborates the situation during the interview. She was mad at her for sometime but they became friends again. Do a little reaserch dumbass.

I don't think anyone even knows what they're talking about in these comments. Especially the ones who talk about suicide, selfishness, and Karma. Do you people know this person personally? I don't think so, get a life.

I doubt she's that rich or powerful(especially compared to many in show business), and I assume the deceitful refers to your previous posts about how she stole her best friend's guy and how she wasn't nice to you in school (because we all know this is the same person writing these posts!!). Please... everyone can name a cheerleader or sorority girl that wasn't nice to everybody when they were in school, that's what happens when you are a teenager. Just because she wasn't your friend doesn't mean that she treats/treated everybody like that. Grow up; everybody has bad stuff like break-ups happen to them, it isn't always Karma... it's life. You can be the nicest person in the world (which I assume you are not), and still get cancer, lose a child, get a divorce.

It never ceases to amaze me how judgmental people can be. When a person has reached a point in their lives where they are no longer making any mistakes and do everything perfectly, then maybe they have a right to make a comment. Since nobody ever falls into that category, they should leave it as is. Most of the time, we never really know the whole truth about the situation with a celebrity. And the comment that if somebody wasn't very nice when younger, that they will continue to be that way is wrong. I've known people who, when younger, were inconsiderate and gossipy. But, as they got older, they realized that was wrong and made a point to change their attitude. Looks like some people on this board need to change theirs.

Sarah, sorry to hear about your broken heart. My girlfriends and i love your music... it does speak truth. People just dont know how to express themselves and thats why theres miscommunication... so yes, women do take her music to heart! Actually, Canadians are always proud when one of their owns makes it, especially when it is a Maritimer. I was merely stating a fact. She wasn't a nice person when I knew her. She was a very catty individual when I knew her.

There are certain boundaries in life, one is not to become involved with a siblings boyfriend/husband/partner; as well as your "best" friend's. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around. For the sake of her children, hopefully, they will be adults.

I have always been a big fan of Sarah's but this is the first I've heard about her "stealing" her friend's boyfriend... but he was an adult, too, and it wasn't just her. NONE of the people on here critizing her was there to know exactly what happned so really everybody should just mind their own business. And she doesn't have to be a role model for anyone. She's a great singer and I'll still buy her albums, her personal life is not a concern of mine. And the person who knew her before and said she "wasn't nice then"... you sound jealous.

Are you saying just because she had a friend who died, that SHE is the reason? Did you happen to actually read those lyrics? That song is a tribute to her friend. How in the world does her friend committing suicide have anything at all to do with her marriage falling apart? She didn't kill her friend. Her friend killed HERSELF that's why it's called suicide. If you'd ever lost anyone like that yourself, you wouldn't be so quick to think you have all the answers. Disgusting.

Her friend (incidentally, the song "Adia" was about the whole thing where Sarah stole her friend's boyfriend and then married him) committed suicide in 1998, so there's no telling what she thinks of this.
