Okay, look, she's 15, he's 20, and while I would monitor that relationship VERY closely, I don't think it's entirely out of the question. I dated a 27 year old man when I was 19, and that worked very well, primarily because we had the same likes and dislikes. If it's a good match, and the parents are very involved, then WHO CARES?? Does he have a record? What do his parents, friends, coworkers think of him? What are his attitudes about life? Does he get along with the 'rents? There are too many variables to sit there and be in judgment and say "Oh, he must be a pervert or a child molestor" because he's dating Miley. Trust me, I have a daughter who's 12 and beginning to attract boys, plus I remember how I was at that age. As long as the parents are paying attention and stick to a game plan, it's all good. I don't really think Selena went out of her way to comment about this guy, I think she was asked about it, and being nice, Selena responded with this answer. She's dating appropriately, to a guy that is more around her age, rather than Miley dating a 20 year old guy that can be considered her big brother. Until Miley turns 18, she is still a child, and should not be allowed to date a 20 year old man. I hope there is a fine line with Miley when it comes to this guy, because from what I've seen of her, she's not a saint....hope she doesn't get pregnant.
