You know what I love the most about the Sex and the City phenomenon; that it's a story that's about 20% female solidarity and 80% romantic idealism and conspicuous consumption and they've landed everyone hook, line and sinker.

And now, we can get teenage girls to fall even more into the same trap cycle of trying to heal heartbreak with superficial consumption.

First of all we are all entitled to our own opinion. Second of all, if you don't have anything nice to say about the women who have committed their time and effort to a project, who work hard and long days trying to entertain those of us who enjoy the show, then just don't watch it, don't comment, let it die in your own head. I do respect what you have to say, however, why should people who appreciate it be subjected to such harshness. Just as much as you don't care about what we enjoy, we don't care about your words.

WOOOOOOOOO! To hell with you if you're not into it, don't read it! I think it's a great idea. I'm hoping that, like the series, the underlying themes will be about friendship and female support. The young gals out there who so worship the series would do well to read a book like that!

Ok really I am one of the biggest satc fans, huge followed it for years. But don't ruin a great thing by making it childish. No one or at least I don't want to think of Carrie in High School that just makes her character loose all it's magic. It ruins the whole appeal of the show the style in the first place.

I loved Sex & the City til the end. I was extremely disappointed in the movie & now I'm kind of turned off to the whole thing with a book coming out about her teenage years. I'm pretty sick of the series at this point. I don't see many S&TC fans running out to read about a teenager. Where's the market for this one?

I love Sara Jessica and Carrie Bradshaw. I hate when people cut her down, she's a person too. I think she has inside beauty, outside beauty and is very talented! I also think she was perfect for the role of carrie Bradshaw

I do not like her at all and am thankful that show finally went away!
