I can imagine the Hudson family's pain. Because we have been there.
My brother was randomly shot to death 5 years ago, when he had the misfortune to be on the same street as violent offender who was on parole. My brother was 21 years old.
It's a horror to live through. Once a person has felt this you can't help but feel the pain another person is going through when this happens to them.
I do not know Jennifer Hudson or any of her family. But my heart breaks for them because I know the pain they are going through.
No one should ever suffer this. Their lives will never be the same.
My heart goes out to them. I wish I did know them in person so that I could give them all a hug.

I really don't know what to think of the people who care making horrible comments at such a tragic time. If you really mean what you say you are a horrible indidual. If you are just saying these things to get a response then I feel sorry for you. You must feel so much pain inside of yourself that you would be able to write such hateful things just because you need the attention.

OMG- you guys act like you know these people on a personal level. Are you going to have a candle lit vigil too? It's sad, but c'mon! You're all so disgustingly fake.

This is the most horrifying and unimaginable loss possible. There are no adequate words to express how badly I feel for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jennifer. I don't know where one finds the strength to move on after such a loss. I pray that G-d has your loved ones with him Jennifer and that justice will be served to whomever is responsible for these unspeakable crimes.

And this is why I believe there should be capitol punishment. Anyone who can do this to a CHILD doesn't deserve to be alive.

What a tragedy and I can't imagine the grief nor the pain nor the scrutiny Jennifer and her family must endure, and my heart goes out to them.

Come on, for once put ignorance and stupidity aside and show some respect for a woman who has to deal with more pain than most people will ever have to comprehend. AND she has to do it in the public eye.

This is a time of mourning for jennifer and her family, all this disrespectfull words used to describe the loss is unecessary. Please respect their them for if lost someone in your familly you would act the same way. The disrespect of one's mourning shows immaturity, a lack of a heart, and spitfull soul. "If you don't have anything nice to say do say anything at all".

It makes me sick to see some of the Horrible comments made on here..

A young woman has lost her family members. It is bad enough to take someones life.. but to take that of a small child. My daughter is the same age as that poor little boy, I can not Fathom what was going through that childs mind before his precious life was taken from him.
I can't imagine the pain that Mother must be feeling @ the loss of her child compounded with losing her Mother and Brother and possibly @ the hands of her Husband.

It hurts my heart to see what this family is going through and to know that there are people out there that are posting on this site and saying the horrible things that they are saying.

People have some Compassion, have some Heart. I pray for this family..
and I pray for those people that are Spewing vile hate towards others. I hope nothing like this EVER happens to you.

Yesterday when Obama offered his condolences to JH half of the US bloggers raged about how he supposedly only did this b/c she was black and he was being an opportunist. Why didn't Obama also express sympathy for all the other people who had been killed, they wanted to know? Never mind that he knew JH personally; never mind that US mag is a blog about the famous; never mind any of that. Then when the IDOL folks express the same caring toward JH, do people rage about why they didn't include condolences to every other family who lost someone through violence? No, the vitriol toward Obama at every place on this blog, with every so-called opportunity to skew the subject toward that end, has been truly frightening. If not out and out racist, it's covertly racist, with the somewhat more subtle so-called ideas (which are totally fabricated lies, regardless of the supposed sources quoted) that Obama is an Arab, or a communist, or a jihadist, or a Marxist, etc. etc. ad nauseum. Meanwhile JH's family situation, a truly horrific and beyond-the-norm insane event, is characterized by those same types as "typical of such families" and worse hate speech vilification. I don't blame US mag from deleting all of those "conversations" and starting over. I hope those people will look at themselves and figure out why it is that they have to hate others so much. Maybe they will decide to work on their own lives and create some meaning in them. Perhaps then they might find some charity toward others and some grace in their own lives.
