EXCLUSIVE: Spencer Pratt Denies Involvement in Lauren Conrad Rumor

Spencer Pratt has told Usmagazine.com exclusively that he had nothing to with spreading a rumor that Lauren Conrad had a fling with Audrina Patridge's on/off beau Justin Bobby.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore that LC would choose to try and blame something on me," Pratt told Us. "The truth is I was asked about this yesterday and chose to say absolutely nothing out of respect for Audrina's feelings. Why LC continues to bring me up whenever she gets into trouble is beyond me."

He continued: "That being said, if it is true what she did with Justin, it doesn't surprise me. Anyone who watched Laguna Beach saw her trying to steal someone's boyfriend every week for 2 years. Honestly, I really think she needs to stop blaming someone who wants nothing to do with her for all of the problems she creates."

Reports surfaced Friday that Conrad hooked up with Patridge's motorcycle-riding,on-again, off-again fling (real name: Justin Brescia).

"I'm accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar," Conrad told Us on Friday.

"I would never hurt a friend like that!" she said.

She later blogged on her MySpace page, hinting that Pratt had something to do with it. "Hmmmmmm. I wonder who it could be? I'm baffled....What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart?"

Patridge, who moved out of Conrad and Lo Bosworth's L.A. home in September, did not confirm or deny the rumor in a blog post on her Web site on Friday.

"I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin," Patridge wrote. "I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful."

She added: "I can't comment on whether they are true or false."

funny how spencer commented that LC always "brings him up when she gets into trouble" i do believe that for the past 2 years everytime spencer had the opportunity to steal the spotlight he was bringing up LC? This rumor of LC and JB hooking up is just completely outragious and untrue. i think if LC wanted JB she could have done it a long time ago not to mention LC is and was seeing someone exclusively and was with him out of town at the time the hookup "supposidly happened" People....its not true---hello! Haha Spencer is a dumb ASS...I love the fact that he got called out by Audrina on Ellen. He deserves it and I think this proves he was behind the rumors of the sex tape too. What a tool...I also love that Whitney got her own show. It just goes to prove that sometimes being sweet works better than being an ASS. Anyway who would want to watch Spencer controlling Heidi all the time? I mean that is what we would see if they had there own show...it would be like watching DUMB and DUMBER without the comedy.

I hate how Spencer is claiming innocence. I saw the article in which he was quoted saying that Adrianna was going through some serious personal issues right now and he was praying for her on Perez Hiltons site.

Then Perez Hilton who has admitted in the press to be friends with him and talks to him on a daily basis got an exclusive report from a "source"! Everyone knows whenever there is something negative about Lauren from a "source" on Perez it is Spencer and/or Heidi. He makes me sick how obsessed he is with Lauren, it is quite sad.
