So if someone who is a current student of Ayers at the U. of Illinois in 20 years decides to run for President, you would not vote for them because of that? That's abosulely ridiculous. Obama and Ayers aren't buddies, they served on the same committee to improve education (which was run by a republican). Before you go to a PTA meeting do you do background checks on all the other parents? If you don't want to vote for Obama because of his policies that's fine, but to not vote for him because he sat on a committee with someone who committed a crime 20 years ago and has since been named Chicago's man of the year and is a respected college professor, that's just crazy.

OP, I completely agree. And yes, I have been MUCH better off under Bush than Clinton. And since the economic crash right now has a lot to do with Clinton's policies (forcing Fannie and Freddie to consider welfare and unemployment as income for mortgages) I think we've all done better. Except for the people on welfare who got free housing, of course.

Spencer and Heidi probably aren't helping the McCain campaign any, Wonder if Obama is secretly paying them to endorse McCain? LOL
