Tila Tequila: It's "Awesome" Ellen & Portia Got Married

Bisexual MTV babe Tila Tequila is thrilled Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi tied the knot.

"I thought it was awesome," she told Usmagazine.com at the "Hot In Hollywood" event in Hollywood on Saturday. "I was really excited when I heard about it, and the fact that they are openly out there... they look so happy together."

She added, "It's great that people are able to marry each other whether you are gay or straight."

Tequila's relationship with socialite/actress Courtenay Semel is also blooming, she told Us.

"We met through mutual friends. She was a fan of my show, and we decided to meet up and just hit it off," she said. "With another girl, you never have to worry about how you look in the morning because we both look sh----y, and it's fine."

She said she feels "a closeness" with Semel, whom she's been dating for about six months.

"I thought she was a party girl — but she is not!" Tequila added. "She will actually stay home with me, which is awesome."

How did Semel know Tila was different from the rest?

"I was asking for a positive light to come into my life," Semel told Us, "and she just walked in."
