I never thought of Tom Cruise as funny, but if you think about it, he's done some pretty funny roles and did them extremely well.

Matt Lauer's comeback was lame and was as creative as something that came out of a stoned junior high-schooler. And considering that Matt Lauer is probably about 5 feet 6 inches who the hell does he think he is making a joke about height? I know, I've stood next to Matt Lauer in NY on his show. He's not very friendly either. The Asian lady, not sure what her name is, was the only nice person on the Today show.
