I feel sorry for all the female models who didnt make the cut to even get on the first episode when he did. And also for the women who had to find out (while being video taped on TV) that they were not as good as a man wearing women's clothing. I know that modeling can be tough on one's self esteem. Always comparing yourself to other women etc. To know, and to have all your friends and family find out on television, that a TG/TV etc man beat you... that's tough to live down. I seriously hope none of the models were depressed/suicidal after that.

I am all for the ability for TG/TV etc people to get their fair opportunity at jobs, etc., but having him on the show is a pure and simple ratings grab. It's even worse than the conflict they introduce with the models with little talent but lots of attitude they have each year.

This could be the jump the shark season of ANTM.

This is rediculous. It is not only obvious that Tyra does not care about anything but ratings. But he will not get anywhere as a female model because he is not a female. God does not make mistakes, but he alows us to make mistakes. This person has made a mistake. If you are going to be gay/bi fine, but this is too much. Make yourself happy without pretending you are something you are not. This is a mockary of what a human is. Wearing girl clothes will never win him the contest. There are a lot a beautiful weoman out there who have a chance, and what it takes. This is upsurd and I don't want to see a publicity stunt like this. If Tyra REALLY wants to fairly, efficiantly, and usefully raise ratings, she should have a plus contest for one season. Or at LEAST have a season with the average american woman shape. Now I am a very skinny girl (5'6" and 95 pounds) and i can't change it. So for those out there like me, I am not saying there is anything wrong or unnatural about being crazy thin, but there is something wrong with limiting the competition to skinny girls and girls who starve themselves to fit the pattern. This is stupid. He will never win. And if he does, you just wasted some other real girls talent and dream. I hope you are proud of yourself Tyra, this is awful.

haha some of these comments are so ignorant.. God makes no mistakes but works in funny ways.. I''m glad that she is able to compete, maybe it will open some ppl eyes.. Regardless of being a tranny she is still human and is just as flawed as anyone else..

It's great that Isis is participating in ANTM. She is actually making history on not only America's Next Top Model but in Network television. Not only that but she is proving that no matter who you are, you have the right to pursue your dreams. There are people who are strongly against allowing a transwoman to compete in ANTM but their prejudice against Isis is only going to fuel her desire to be a top model. And despite the negativity others put on her, she has the support of the transgender community and me. I wish her all the best and good luck :)

Yes, I really feel I have what it takes to be ANTM. I have to admit that it has been a bumpy road taking all these hormones, having my male genitalia inverted and these stupid things you women, I mean us women, call breasts inserted. Yes sir, um... I mean Yes maam, now that the outside of me matches the inside (minus the uterus and ovaries) I finally have the goods to compete in a competition with all these bit%hes!

Don't let the knuckle-draggers posting here bring you down. As a transwoman, I'm so proud to see you out there, doing what you love to do, and am grateful to Tyra Banks for being open-minded enough to give you this opportunity.

For far too long, the bottom-feeders of our society - the real losers, like some of the posters here - have been throwing castigating comments towards transwomen, and it is about time that these people begin to comprehend that we're not going away, we're not hiding under rocks, and if you dont like it, that's YOUR problem.

Maybe she is confusing ANTM with her Tyra show - you can have freaks on there and its no big deal.

Is ANTM hurting for ratings or what? There are still TONS of beautiful girls who are trying to get their big break into the modeling industry and yet Tyra is wasting her time on this male turned trans-female? She doesn't care about REAL girls who are model hopefuls, only her ratings.

Oh well, there goes another TV show I won't be watching...

Bottom line: She is not articulate and certainly not attractive. It's a stunt to create buzz about the upcoming season and to get more reviewers due to controversy. She won't win because she is not model material.

God NEVER makes mistakes. We are what we are and shouldn't try to change what we are because we will only confuse ourselves. I really feel for this person.

I can't believe how some of you people comment. First off, God does make mistakes!!!! And 2nd, you have no idea how this trans-gender person was born. She might have been born with birth defects that were impossible to correct for all you know! And as far as being a woman, Not all women have periods, Not all women have their ovaries & Not all women have a womb to carry children. Grow up and leave this person alone. I hope she wins!!!
