Travis Barker Crash: Plane's Faulty Tire May Be to Blame

 Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com A tire on the plane carrying Travis Barker and DJ AM Friday night may have blown before it crashed, killing four passengers. The National Transportation Safety Board has said the Learjet's black box recording device showed the crew were aware of the blown tire before the private plane crashed into an embankment on takeoff in South Carolina. "We have been contacted by the NTSB and will cooperate fully with its investigation," Goodyear, the tire manufacturer, told TMZ.com in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of this accident." Barker and DJ AM suffered second and third degree burns from the incident but are expected to make full recoveries. Barker has burns on his torso and lower body and DJ AM has burns on his arm and part of his head. "It's a seriously sad situation," music producer Jermaine Dupri told Usmagazine.com after visiting Barker in the hospital. "He's doing good... but I really hate to see my friends go through this." During a press conference on Saturday, Dr. Fred Mullins, Medical Director at Georgia's Joseph Still Burn Center read a statement from the families: "The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern. Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash. As the two recuperate and mourn this loss, privacy for them, their families and friends is requested at this time." Yeah, thats why Canada is such a great, stronger and more advanced country then the USA. You know this was a private jet. Its the owner and the pilots that should be inspecting their planes properly. I love how people blame the president for stupid stuff. Next, maybe I can blame the president for me being constipated. Get a life. 12:30 What do you mean tattoos? Have you never seen skin that has been grafted? It is not pretty and needs lots and lots of surgeries and special care. Oprah intervied a woman who was burned by her husband and we saw the measures she had to do every morning and night, day in, day out, to keep her skin protected, such as putting on a mask to sleep, putting cream and special garments on the arms and legs, gloves for the hands, etc. It was overwhelming to see and that was years after the incident. But, she had the most beautiful spirit I have ever seen. I hope that woman can be a source of inspiration to DJ and Travis through all this.

12:00 That's funny! But you know what? Sadly, it may be a bit true. I worked with a world-renowned Canadian lawyer specialized in air transportation. He told me that he never travels with American airlines because of the deregulation of the industry making it less secure (in terms of inspections) than ours. PS: I hope that the reason for the crash is found soon so that it never happens again and everyone is safer. I have lots of American relatives. PSS: I'm not a lawyer so please don't address your complaints to me.
