Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz is going to be a mom!

The actress, 37, confirms to Latina magazine that she and her husband, Half Life guitarist Noah Lebenzon, are expecting their first child.

"Yes, I am preggers. My family, friends and everyone at work knows what's up, and I have gotten nuthin' but love and support," the actress says. "What a crazy chapter of life this will be."

Ortiz's pregnancy will not be written into the show, "so I guess Hilda will be carrying a lot of boxes and standing behind her salon chair," she jokes.

One of the actresses' pals tells Usmagazine.com that "Ana and Noah are so excited to be parents.

"You can just tell how thrilled she is. She's totally glowing," adds the friend. "I think the only thing she's going to miss is the occasional margarita! Ana and Noah are going to be the most wonderful parents. They are so full of love. I can't think of two better people to be parents."

Ortiz may have been inspired to get pregnant by Ugly Betty costar Rebecca Romijn, who welcomed twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip with husband Jerry O'Connell on Dec. 28.

When asked about children at Us' Hot in Hollywood party last August, she said, "We are definitely thinking about it now that I saw Rebecca!"

Ortiz and Lebenzon wed in June 2007 in front of 85 guests -- including Ugly Betty costars America Ferrera and Mark Indelicato -- in Puerto Rico.
