Heidi and Lauren knew each other in Laguna hence why they both were involved in the fashion show. Lauren moved directly in with Heidi when she got to LA. HERE IS HOW THEY REALLY MET...When Lauren went up to SAnFran for college in the fall of 04 she met Heidi because she was enrolled their and they were both fashion majors(Heidi would later change her major and drop out of college...) They became instant friends that even after Lauren left SanFran and decided she would move to LA, Heidi decided she would too. So for a couple of months Heidi actually lived with Lauren in Laguna and thats why you may see glimpses of her in season 2of LB. It was later after the producers wanted to do a spinoff with Kristen Cavelleri(who said no, wanted to becaome a actress) They decide to do a spinoff with Lauren....

I think they should all have one big orgy and get it over with.

Um...ACTUALLY, they knew each other during Laguna beach*the Show, later seasons*. But they didn't know eachother FROM Laguna.

I don't care if they are friends or enemies. I just think Lauren is very classy and very kind and she is a strong woman with strong opinions and I love that. I'd rather have a friend with a voice than someone who doesn't think for themselves...(Heidi)!

It's called "building a climax." What show would be fun to watch if there were no climaxes building up to the season finale? Yes, it's called a "reality" show...but c'mon. We're all adults enough to know that no good show would come out of non-edited tapes of reality stars. A lot of things wouldn't make sense because cameras aren't on them 24/7. Besides, it would look like a really low-budget show if they were to air each episode as soon as it was taped. There is a reason behind why each episode airs weeks after the actual events happen. Even if it is a reality show, it's still gotta have climaxes to build on, and for the audience to understand what's going on. Some people just expect too much..maybe been watching too much EDtv? Lol...

Bottom line, if people agree to be a part of a reality show, they go into it knowing that producers will mix and match events out of sequence in order to create drama for people to be intrigued by. Remember...there's no such thing as bad publicity. So all you people hating on reality shows...why do you even bother with them then? Obviously because these producers are doing their job right. =)
