VIDEO: Watch Katie Holmes Perform a Sexy Song-and-Dance Number!

Katie Holmes performs a sexy song-and-dance number on the Oct. 21 episode of ABC's Eli Stone, (watch clip, above, courtesy of E!).

Holmes - who plays a non-profit attorney with a mysterious case - "was fabulous at the table read," ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson said in July. "There's some singing and dancing that she does – it's exquisite."

Added executive producer Greg Berlanti (who worked with Holmes on Dawson's Creek): "I begged her" to appear on the show. And she said, 'I'd love to.'"

Holmes' Broadway play, a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons, officially opens Thursday.

Great job. I'm a pro singer so I can do what she does vocally so I have the right to comment. (YouTube - Everyday Hero - Geoff Levin where you can hear my voice)

And her vamping combines perfectly.

She's sensuous without doing the 'ho thing that we've seen way to much of.

OMG - that was really HIDEOUS! Truly, that was a high pitch - she just didn't cut-it but left my ears aching. I had to watch it over again to make sure this was the posting I wanted to leave here. Why would they make her do that?? It does not suit her at all and she is definitely NO "Marilyn Monroe" or a "Nicole." I think she is trying to become something she is NOT. And, the sideway smerk she holds looked irritating. She should have had a better outfit than that - she looked too stalky and not sexy - more like - Trampy?! And, why is her eyes so darn droopy looking!

Everything about her was too "big" - her hair (wtf happened there?), her gloves, her outfit. The only little thing was that warbly, squeaky voice. Not a high point in her career so far.

I thought she did a decent job. I agree with whoever said she should have been singing more in her range, but with what she was given, she did well.

For those making fun of her clothes or hair or dance... uh.... this is a TV show. It's about a guy with a brain aneurysm that has visions of the people he knows singing and dancing. (And George Michael of course.)
The musical numbers are meant to be a bit over the top and cheesy. Get over it. I'd like to see her in the lawyer role myself.

Wow...I didn't know Katie Holmes could sing (aside from her innocent rendition of On My Own from Dawson's Creek) but she's got a really great voice! She could do well on Broadway or a musical or something!

Was a good sequence and would have been better if the music was in her voice range, way too high.
