Kathleen Turner has had that voice since she was a very young girl. She was very Lauren Bacall when she was younger. She has not done movies, but been very active in theater. And finally, when will you people realize publicity ? This is all it is. Two actors who need a few minutes of spotlight to increase studios looking their way, not that Cage needs it when your real surname is Coppola.

On Friday, Nic Cage’s attorney began libel proceedings against Kathleen Turner at London’s High Court.
Cage, 44, is suing Turner, his former Peggy Sue Got Married co-star, 53, for writing in her new autobiography Send Yourself Roses that the actor was busted for two DUIs and once stole a Chihuahua.
Turner writes, “He caused so many problems. He was arrested twice for drunk-driving and, I think, once for stealing a dog. He'd come across a chihuahua he liked and stuck it in his jacket.”
But in a statement issued last month, Cage fired back: "I have never been arrested for anything in my life, nor have I stolen a dog.”
Cage's lawyer tells New York's Daily News, "If he doesn't get a retraction, he intends to go full speed ahead with litigation in the U.S."

Okay, who really cares! First, N. Cage is as much of a has been as Kathleen Turner. I had to laugh when I read the blog that she sounds like an 80 year old man who has been smoking cigars since age 5! Right on. She has issues and he has issues. So, you meet some chick who is working as a waitress and you have mega $$$, of course people wonder why? He was a loser in Hollywood and so he married someone who thought he is great. She got mixed up in Hollywood and was something in her day but now she has got to let go. She is not attractive, not funny and needs to find something else to do - Oh right Broadway. When all else fails do Broadway!

this is the silliest law suit I have ever heard. Whether he took the dog or not, it's just another frivilous law suit. Hopefully the matter can be resolved between the two parties without wasting tax payer dollars...As for "War of the Roses," not only are you a bigot, but you are positively rude. I would believe Kathleen Turner over Cage any day!! He has a terrible reputation as anyone who has ever worked with him will say.
For one thing he refuses to take director's notes and adds a lot of time to shooting whatever film he's trying to control at the moment. He also married a mail-order bride hoping to find a subservient Asian girl that he could control.
He's an okay actor -- not a great one. Definatley definatley not in the same stratosphere as say DeNiro, Nicholson, Pacino etc. Stars of their magnitude may be able to get away with that shltty behavior (although they don't) but Cage can't.
I'll be interested in watching this case.

Well, if it is actually a lie I do hope he sues. I think everyone is getting tired of all the lies flying around about celebrities.
Some stories are true and some tabloids are worse than others but the ones that keep getting it wrong over and over are Life & Style, In Touch and US Weekly. I know there are more but I don't care enough to research it. Slap them all with lawsuits and maybe we'll live to see the day when we can expect truth over lies in our media.
