Dreamed of being on High School Musical?
This summer, Nick Lachey will host a reality show on ABC seeking a newcomer to be "a part of HSM history," a network rep told Usmagazine.com.
Tentatively titled High School Musical: Summer Session, the show will feature contestants between the ages of 16 and 22.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year is currently being filmed in Utah and a fourth installment of the hit Disney franchise is being written.
This isn't Lachey's first stint on reality TV: he co-starred with ex Jessica Simpson on MTV's Newlyweds.
Lachey's reality show is set to premiere on July 20. For more information on open casting calls, click here.

I think Nick is great. And as for those saying he has nothing going, he was on Oprah before Christmas, he did Clash of the Choirs and won, he has an album coming out this summer, he is producing a show for MTV, has financial interests in minor league baseball and a restaurant(with Nicky Hilton and Wilder Valderama), so please Nick haters get your facts straight.
He certainly has more going than his ex, who seems to be doing nothing but hanging out playing tonsil hockey with Tony Romo. YUCK!! Oh, and waiting for her next movie to hit DVD.
