Nicole Kidman Wins Damages Over False Perfume Claim

 Nicole Kidman attends The Golden Compass world premiere held at the Odeon Leicester Square on November 27, 2007 in London, England. Ah, the smell of victory. Nicole Kidman – who has been dubbed one of the most overpaid celebrities – was awarded substantial damages over a claim that she snubbed Chanel No. 5 by promoting a rival perfume, the Associated Press reports. Details of the settlement were not disclosed. Kidman's attorney John Kelly said Kidman had suffered considerable embarrassment and distress over a recent article in London's The Daily Telegraph claiming that Kidman had carried a bottle of a competitor's perfume while she was in London to promote The Golden Compass. The Daily Telegraph said the source of the report made up the story. Kidman plans to donate the money to Unifem, the United Nations Development Fund for Women. This is what happens when you sell yourself out...even if she wasn't carrying a competitor's perfume, why the hell can't she? charlize theron was sued for wearing a watch belonging to the competitor of a company she was advertising for...what the hell makes these people take on these contracts that forbid them from wearing the watch they want to wear or buying the perfume they like? give up the money and keep some integrity...and personal freedom

I agree 11:47, that baby chick yellow is so popular yet so gross looking on everyone. What is with people wanting to be a dumb blonde? I think Nicole might even look good as a brunette with her blue eyes. The red was better than yellow though. She sure looks like a Stepford wife. Just the way she stands.
