i think that nicole deserves to be treated like every human being should be not as anyone else. And to Nicole i hope everything goes well with the pregnancy and joel i think that you will be a great parents but honestly i hope that you dont take anymore drugs and dont drink as much.

Stop kissing this girl's butt. If you like her, then you like her. If you don't, then you don't. Just let her live her life, make her mistakes and all that good crap. I mean really, she does not put food on my table so I could care less about how she lives.

Some of you are so mean! Even YOU make bad choices in your life now and then, so what right do you have to judge? Did you ever considdered that people CHANGE? I´m happy for Nicole, she really seems to have matured, and Joel appears to be one of the reasons for her changing. Madden and Duff broke up for a reason, that´s often the case when a relationship ends. And I thought that everyone with a little lifeexperience knew that love is not logical! If he falled in love with Nicole, if she makes him happy and they choosed to keep this baby because they both were ready to start a new chapter in their lives, then who are you to judge him, or her, for that?

I hope all the young girls out there that look up to Nicole (sad but they do), don't get the wrong idea about pregnancy. You need to give up drugs, alcohol and eat right before you even think about getting pregnant. Nicole is such a bad example!!!

My mother married my father two months after meeting him. They had their first child a year later. At which point my mother never looked pregnant till she was 7 months. She was small framed. 110 pounds (healthy dominican woman with the hips and all) yet she still looked the same as my brother grew in her belly. So, in fact NICOLE could be pregnant. Wait not could be, she says she is. I believe her. Why? cause you can already tell. Look at her plump face. It used to look like she was a skeleton before. Then look at her arms...They too are a bit plump. The same thing was said about Kaity holmes. one day she looked pregnant the other day she didnt. Being around pregnant women all the time i can see some sings. The arms and face alot of the times are give aways in women with small frames.

Kaity;s arms were huge when she was prego..so was her face. I dont think famous people (even if they are famous for doing practically nothing)like Nicole and kaity want to look fat ever. They want to look their best. They are expected to be in their best. Pregnancy is the only exception in where they can gain all they want and not have the world talk about their looks.

I believe Nicole is really trying to change, whether she does change or not...that's up to her. She does have a responsibility to her child now. Good for her that she is doing what needs to be done. We should just leave her alone now.

Unfortunately, Nicole never considered the fact that she could get pregnant while doing alcohol and drugs while having unprotected sex. Hopefully, the stuff she took during the first 3 months of pregnancy won't add up to severe problems for her baby (you're not even supposed to take aspirin! and she was doing harder stuff). Plus the fact that she has had a terrible diet and lifestyle could mean an underweight baby (that's the least of the problems the child could have) and much much more serious problems that will rob this child of a "normal" development and healthy life. All addictions and these types of afflictions are inherited traits which the baby will be subjected to.
As to what Lionel said to her, you can sense his hurt and disappointment in his words, unfortunately this is exactly what life does, makes events repeat themselves..... and she WILL find that this child will make her "see" what her parents are going through. No need to wish misfortune, hard times or problems on her, life will take care of that. Everyone can see with their own family's histories how this works. Hopefully her partner will stick around to help her.

Nicole made a mistake - ok, quite a few of them - but then who hasn't to some degree or another? She always seems to step up and say that she messed up instead of coming up with weird stories to try to explain away her behavior (yeah, right, it wasn't your cocaine and you weren't shoplifting you were researching a role and yeah, beating that car with an umbrella after shaving your head, that was for a role you didn't get... uh huh) and then she gets on with life. She beats the heck out of that hilton bleep, Nicole must have been doing massive drugs to have been around that fugly, lying sleeze. Even with her problems she is so much better that that crotch flasher.

Who cares about Hillary Duff? She needs to move on. A goody-two-shoes just cant please a rocker. Joel's not really a star in my opinion, but maybe he's finally found someone on his heroin-addicted level....

I don't like Nicole. I'm not sure what she's famous for besides being a sidekick of some sort or being the daughter of a famous person. And Joel Madden--wow. Started up on Nicole really fast, didn't he? Good for Hillary Duff. She can do better.

She IS pregnant. I was 5 or 6 months before the bump was pretty obvious. My limbs & everything stayed thin throughout my pregnancy & I wore normal clothes throughout the 9 months. She is small boned. Not everyone turns into a tank when they get pregnant.

Joel IS an idiot! Talk about jumping the shark. He's crazy if he's going along with her faking it, and he's even crazier if he actually knocked her up. She's nothing but a foul mouthed druggie. This "pregnancy" won't change her. You're supposed to change BEFORE you have kids, not expect the kids to change you.

People need to leave Nicole alone, we all make mistakes. She just happen to do it in front of the whole world. I think they make a great couple. You live and learn!
