Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie really do do everything together! Usmagazine.com has confirmed that Richie will serve out her four-day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility at Los Angeles County's women's jail in Lynwood, California, where Hilton, 26, recently spent 23 days for violating probation.
“Nicole Richie's attorney has indicated that she wants to do her time in county jail,” L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore tells Usmagazine.com.
“Lynwood is the only county jail for women in Los Angeles, so if she does go to county jail she will go to Lynwood.”
According to TMZ, Richie could benefit from Lynwood’s overcrowding problem and possibly have her sentence reduced.
The former reality star -- who recently announced that she’s four months pregnant -- could enter Lynwood late in the evening (as Paris did) and get credit for an entire day.
There’s also a chance Richie, 25, could be awarded "good time" credit, which would also shorten the sentence.
When asked whether Richie could possibly be released early on good behavior, Whitmore refused to speculate, saying, “All things are decided upon entering the jail.”

If she is lucky maybe she'll get to see the same sheriff that Paris did, and he can let her out after 90 minutes. That is instead of doing 90 hours. Than someone can wait in the car for her and she can come out after that.

Laryssa: I agree with your statement. I don't understand why Paris got 45 days for violating her probstion by driving with a suspended licence and Nicole is getting 4 days for a 2nd DUI. The judge that sentenced Paris was very strict with not letting her out before, no pay jail, etc. Nicole will probably be out in a couple of hours. Does anyone know if Nicoles DUI is a violation of her first DUI or if this occured after she completed her probabtion for that case? That might explain the time difference.

I love how Nicole acts like she's really taking responsibility for her actions by serving a whole four days in jail. Wow. I'm sure she'll emerge a more spiritually enlightened person. WTF-ever! At least the judge could've matched her with Paris Hilton's 3-week jail sentence for driving drugged up, going the wrong direction on the freeway. Whoever calls this "justice" should be shot.

Why would anyone wish her well? It will take time for me to even give her one ounce of pity. She needs to prove it to herself, her family and most important-her new baby. Nicole is a drug addict with 2....TWO Dui's!!! The last one was driving on the wrong side of the freeway. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! Cut her some slack in a couple of years.
