Lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan has filed a motion with the court to withdraw himself as Pamela Bach’s attorney.

Bach was married to Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006. The former couple have been waging a bitter custody battle over the last year over custody of their two daughters Hayley, 14, and Taylor-Ann, 17.

In June, Hasselhoff, 55, was awarded primary physical and sole legal custody of the children. The ruling came despite the fact that, in May, a judge suspended Hasselhoff's right to visit his children after a videotape filmed by Taylor-Ann surfaced online showing the America’s Got Talent judge drunk, eating a burger off his living room floor.

Just four days after the judge’s ruling, Bach fired attorney Debra Opri (who once represented Larry Birkhead in his custody battle over Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn).

Bach, 43, appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 19 and asked a judge to appoint Kaplan as her new attorney. Judge Mark Juhas granted the request.

No word on why Kaplan has now decided to part ways with Bach. He is currently representing Kevin Federline in his custody case against Britney Spears.
