FACEBOOKJason has seemingly evolved from the once troubled problem child that he was. However lauren is a hypocrite; the situation with lauren and jason is'nt much different from the situation with heidi and spencer. Both deal with sucky guys who neither roomate/bff could tolerate. On several episodes heidi confronted lauren about jason and she never gave lauren some sort of me or jason ultimatum. Lauren went as far as to move in with jason for the summer and that did'nt comparmise her friendship with heidi. However i think spencer is a maniacal person and he has destroyed heidi's ability to do what's right. Audrina is annoying, unnecessary, and suspect. I wish she was replaced with lo and lastly where are the other laguna beach alums? because "newport harbor" is a craptacular spin off.

Back from a weekend getaway with the mysterious Justin Bobby, Audrina announces that things between the volatile couple are on. Lauren and Whitney discuss the development at work next day where Whitney teases an obviously concerned Lauren. "They probably worked it out on their own," she quips, adding, "no need for anyone else to get involved." Immediately, Lauren's ex Jason Wahler calls, and before you can say "hypocrite" Whitney shoots Lauren a look of disapproval over her decision to answer.
Jason picks up Lauren for dinner at Los Angeles hotspot Ketchup, where Spencer just happens to be taking Heidi to celebrate the promotion at Bolthouse that she stole from coworker Elodie. As Jason and Lauren share some awkward moments of nostalgic flirtation, Speidi walk in and take the offensive. A sarcastic Spencer tells a seated LC and Jason, "It's great to see you guys back together" before he and Heidi speculate to themselves that Lauren picked him up for dinner from "rehab or jail."
Feeling particularly heckly, Speidi send a water and a Shirley Temple over to their frenemies' table, prompting LC and Jason's eventual walk out. An indignant Heidi muses, "After everything she's been through with Jason, and me...who was there for her, through all that hell, is the one she won't talk to...it's baffling."
Speaking of baffling, Lauren gives Jason some intense kiss-me-face when he drops her off at home, but her ex doesn't bite. What's up there?
At their respective offices the next day, LC and Heidi dish about the unfortunate dinner with their coworkers. While Lauren finds a sympathetic ear in Whitney, Heidi is blindsided with preachiness from a scorned Elodie, who asks, "What exactly did you do to [Lauren] that makes her not even want to accept a drink? And also, you know, you were also friends with Audrina, and now she doesn't talk to you anymore. You were friends with Whitney too. You don't even know what's wrong and what's right anymore. It's so sad." Zing, Elodie. Harsh words from a secondary character.
The episode closes on a hopeful note between LC and Jason, who continue to reminisce about their time together. Elsewhere, in a less upbeat part of L.A., Heidi's disappointment in Elodie's inability to buy the "it's just business" defense is lost on Spencer, who's just psyched to be out at their favorite Mexican restaurant.
Next week on The Hills: Lauren finds out that Jason is engaged, and Heidi tries on wedding dresses only to discover that Spencer hasn't told his parents about their impending marriage. Oops!

ookkk i absouletly think whatt Heidi & Spencer did was rude i think jason isnt soo badd anymore and hes starting to act right and i also think that audrina shouldnt go out wit justin bobby cause he has problems and audrina can do soo much better than him!
Jason is not such a bad guy anymore. He went to rehab, which is a good example for a lot of people. Lauren stopped talking to him for a long time. But now that he is trying to turn his life around she is there for him, I think that's good. I don't think Heidi is a bad person. Just a very clueless person. She didn't realize Elodie deserved the job more or that seniority should play a role. She obviously got the job because Brent needs her for publicity for his company. She didn't realize Spencer was a sleazy guy and ruining Lauren's life. It is entirely possible Spencer spread all the rumors and Heidi had nothing to do with it. She's not the brightest.
the situation with lauren and jason is COMPLETELY different from that of Heidi and speencer. spencer is a basterd n heidi cannot c dat cause she is no differnt from him. i was on her side until i saw wat she did to lauren. with the whole jen N brody situation. the only thing i wasnt happy dat lauren did was wen she got angry with jen n not at brody, cause he was just as guilty as her. The difference between Lauren and Heidi's situation with boyfriends is that Jason didn't actively do anything to Heidi except tell Lauren he didn't trust her. Spencer on the other hand attacked Lauren every chance he got while Lauren and Heidi were still friends once he knew Lauren didn't care for him. He and Heidi set up the Jen Bunney episode, he was rude to Lauren's face, and did everything he could to make her miserable, sometimes in public-like her birthday. Heidi didn't take up for her friend in these attacks, she joined in at some point. What kind of friend is that? Lauren did the right thing removing herself from the destructive relationship and telling Heidi things wouldn't be right between them until Spencer was gone.
Ok while i am not a big spencer and heidi fan, is it really necessary to comment on how ugly they are. Are u all beautiful. I don't think so. It was very shady how heidi went behind elodie's back and went to brent about the job. And while we all sit here and bash speidi, i really think if it weren't for the drama none of us would really be into the show that much. We all tune in week after week to see what - the drama. If we didn't add fuel to the fire and talk about speidi all the time, maybe they would go away. But they are such a hot topic,then why wouldn't the producers of the hills want them on. Lauren seems to be a good person and it is crummy how heidi stabbed her in the back but i am sure it has happened to all of us at one point.
I used to think that Heidi was so dumb and I agreed with the way that Lauren felt about things. While I still think that Heidi's not the smartest girl in the world (especially for not seeing what a scumbag Spencer is)Lauren isn't as right as she thinks she is about everything. Lauren seems like she has to have a best bud around all the time. That's pathetic. Audrina needs to stick up for herself and not date guys like Justin Bobby. (I was always into bad boys so I know it's hard). Weren't Heidi and Audrina friends before Audrina and Lauren became friends? And wasn't it last season that Heidi and Lauren were mad at Audrina for hanging out with Spencer? Yes, Heidi is dumb but it seems like if you don't agree with Lauren's opinion about something or someone then she gets mad at you. Sure, Spencer is an bleep but so is that loser Jason she so dearly loves. Why would you date someone that dated half the girls you hung out with in high school?! Maybe instead of being so judgemental she should take her own advice.One thing is for sure and that is that they all have alot of growing up to do.

Um, Whitney and Audrina are not speaking to Heidi because who would want to be her friend? If you're friends with Heidi you'll get backstabbed eventually, ask Elodie, the only person in LA who would tale to her after everything she pulled. She has no friends. I wouldn't be friends with someone who spread evil rumors about my friend and pulled that shadiness with brody and jen, not only is it disloyal but if she does that to Lauren she'll do it to you, she'll do whatever Spencer tells her, you can't trust her. Also, if you're friends with Heidi you'd have to hang with Spencer and listen to him trash you and Lauren all the time.
OMG i hate spencer so much for saying that to lauren and jason. they think their so funny but theyre just a bunch of idiots. It's so funny how Heidi is saying that she is so innocent and that Lauren is really the evil one. But would an innocent person steal someone else's job. You know she only got that job because she has cameras following her around. What a stuck up biatch. And Spencer's an idiot too. Why is he always at home on the computer, get a real job.

I don't think she deserves anyone's shoulder to cry on when she has done nothing but brought all her own problems on herself.
1. it was so rude how heidi and spencer sent over drinks, It was rude that they sent water because of the whole rehab thing. they should have just ignored them.
2. i was so glad that elodie told heidi off, she had a stupid face cause she thought that elodie was still going to sit there and listen to her stupid problems.
3. did anyone notice when heidi was talking to elodie and she said that lauren forgave jason but cant forgive her????? well why would lauren forgive her if heidi has always claimed that she has never done anything to her!!!
4. heidis face was too funny when elodie asked her what did she do to lauren that she cant even accept a drink from her.
I think the Elodi is right, there is a pattern as to why Heidi doesnt have any friends and its SPENCER, I mean seriously i would be pissed too if i was Elodi, she confided to heidi thinking she was her friend and then the well-known Heidi comes out and takes the job. True equal opportunity but Heidi didnt even know about the position being opened, she might have if she wasnt so worried about spencer all the damn time! As for Jason and LC, she really needs to get away from him, I know its hard to let it go and he isnt a bad guy but I mean seriously if every time he comes back into your life and he hurts you well the pattern isnt going to stop if you make yourself at his convienence. GO team everyone but Spencer & heidi ( i really hate them)
Have you ever been in love? Any girl should know that your first love is impossible to get over no matter how hard you try. Jason was Lauren's first love; she's always going to have those feelings for him.
The show is definitely edited but that being said, the words that are said still have to be said. Spencer and Heidi are constantly ragging on Lauren. Lauren never rags on them. Even when she is interviewed in the tabloids she is always polite.
In that "6 page article" US Weekly ran that had Lauren talking about Spencer and Heidi that Spencer was so mad about, Lauren tried not to say anything mean about either one of them. She just answered teh questions and moved on.
Lauren has taken the high road and I'm sure if Heidi apologized and made amends for all the bad she'd done, Lauren would try to forgive her. But Heidi is too brainwashed by Spencer to even realize she did anything wrong.
THE SHOW LAST NIGHT WAS EDITED, ANYONE WITH A BRAIN AND PULSE WOULD HAVE NOTICED!!!! DUH!!! SO WHAT DOES THAT SAY, IF IT WAS EDITED LAST NIGHT, IT'S MOST LIKELY BEEN EDITED BEFORE...IN FAVOR OF THE "GOOD" GIRL LAUREN. SPENCER AND HEIDI HAVE BEEN BARKING ABOUT THIS ALL YEAR! THE SHOW IS EDITED IN HER FAVOR, AND LAST NIGHT WAS OBVIOUS!
The coming attractions for next week show Heidi trying on dresses and then Spencer mentioning that he didn't tell his parents they are engaged!. Can't wait to see that one.... She has a beautiful ring but wasn't it weird that he bought it from a store that also sold handbags and other stuff? That threw me off a little...it seemed so staged...although...as everyone has pointed out...it was probably was staged.
Sade you said it girl (or boy?? :) Everything you say is sooo true! I was thinking Heidi was crazy and Lauren was right -- but not so much anymore! I don't think I side with anyone except Elodie!!

First let me say that I give Lauren props. She doesn't talk bad about Heidi nor Spencer during the show. Maybe it is the producer putting in what he WANTS everyone to see but Heidi just doesn't shut up. She continues to make comments about Lauren, Jason and the situation and little does she know that she is just making herself look more like a witch. For Elodie making that comment....GOOD JOB! If Heidi wants to get promoted and live her little fantasy life than she needs to wake up and see that Spencer does not love her....he probably doesn't even like her but he is sure getting some TV time right now RIGHT? We didn't even know who he was until this show and now he is the talk of the town. Does he even work? All I see is him on the laptop but he never goes to work....I never see him talking on the phone like a business call. He is scum and so is Heidi. The restaurant scene made her look like even more of a witch. She shouldn't have made that comment because now it makes it seem like she is the one that did start the rumors. Grow up Heidi and Spencer.....you are living a fantasy world!
Lauren doesn't really get personally involved with her friends relationships until her friends come to her for advice or they come to her to vent about the guys they are dating. When someone tells you a problem that they are having you kinda want to stick with it to find out what is going to happen. I didn't see how Lauren was telling Audrina that she shouldn't be with Justin after she came back from their little trip. Lauren's not like that. She is there for her friends when they need someone to talk to and some support and offers her advice if needed.
Heidi is pathetic and Spencer still looks like an idiot. they deserve each other because they don't have friends anymore. Heidi is just talking to Jen now because they're bother losers.
Me neither - I'm not on team anybody when it comes to this, but I am trying to understand Lauren's perspective more because it confuses me that she condemns one thing and then turns around and does it herself. Why is it ok when she decides to rekindle the flame with her self-destructive ex? I never thought she seemed able to be happy for her friends, finding fault with the guys they were dating. Why was she so personally involved with their love lives anyway? I think it was more than just feeling blown off by Heidi. I think she was envious that her friends were able to sustain relationships while she wasn't able to keep a guy around herself.
I agree, how weird it was for all four of them to be at the same resturant at the sametime. I think it was plotted out like that. Just like Elodie telling Heidi about the new job opening. I think she was told to do that so there could be more friction at work and make the show more interesting. Thats all the Heidi needs, is to lose more and more friends that she thought she had.
I think its a little too CONVENIENT that Spencer and Heidi just HAPPENED to show up at the same restaurant that Lauren and Jason were at...Of all the restaurants in LA, they were at the same one??? PLEASE! Spencer had to be tipped off by some producer or something.......ROCK ON ELODIE! bring back Lauren and Jason!!!! (LASON?)
I would chose my friend over a boyfriend any day and I know Lauren would do the same but its obvious that Heidi chose her mind controlling boyfriend over a best friend and you can't say that she didn't because how many times did Heidi blow off Lauren for Spencer when they had plans together? I don't know how long it had been since Heidi had moved in with that freak but she had not once called Lauren and she still has yet call her. And on top of everything, didn't Heidi sent up Lauren's friend with brody when Lauren was sorta seeing him? Now thats a great friend!!!

Heidi did try to invite Lauren and Audrina to her housewarming party, and they didn't even acknowledge her. I just don't get why they can't look past the petty guy drama and realize that their friendship should be the most important thing. Lauren keeps giving Jason another shot, regardless of his reckless, destructive behavior, but she's totally unforgiving toward her old friend. Her priorities are mixed up. She could at least talk to the girl like a civilized human being. Plus, Lauren was so critical of Spencer, but now she turns around and is willing to give him another chance? It's all sure different when it's herself who's emotionally invested in a guy. I was on her side for a while, but now I just don't think her argument makes sense anymore.
