Howard K. Stern Sues Author Rita Cosby For Libel

Usmagazine.com confirms that former Anna Nicole Smith lawyer Howard K. Stern has sued journalist Rita Cosby for libel. Stern's lawyer Lin Wood tells Us, "The libel lawsuit was filed this afternoon in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against Rita Cosby and her publisher, Hachette Book Group USA."

The lawsuit, which was first reported by CelebTV.com, asks for $60 million dollars in compensatory and punitive damages.

Former MSNBC anchor Cosby is the author of Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death. In the book, she writes that Stern, 38, and Larry Birkhead, Smith's former lover and the father of her daughter, Dannielynn, engaged in homosexual acts, which were caught on tape. Further, the book alleges that Stern and Birkhead struck a deal -- Birkhead would get custody of Dannielynn in exchange for Stern being named executor of Smith's estate.

Before the book's release, Birkhead, 34, told Us of Cosby's claims, "If this book is not sitting next to Harry Potter on the fiction shelf, then Rita Cosby is going to be wrapped in one of the most expensive lawsuits ever."

Good Howard! So glad you and your attorney Lin are suing Rita Cosby(squeaky voice one cannot stand) and O`Quinn. Rita could put anyone face on another body. And you can bet that Vergie Authur is co-authur of this book as the two are laughing it up or was! We the people should not let Nancy Grace and her guests convict innocent people like she does sometimes. She and others should be sued also. Howard has character and I think he will succeed in these lawsuits, and maybe open his own law firm and help women like Anna as well as victims like himself. Vergie should be ashamed of pushing Anna over the edge and never giving her any motherly support. I pray I never become a Mother to my daughters or son like her. We the people can help Howard by standing behind him and stop giving the media the ratings to hurt people like Howard. Turn it off!

Well this is now becoming fun for other people and not just Rita Cosby and her 'once upon a time' story she wrote. With her 'security team' in tow...BAM, an arm comes out of no were and she is served! LOL She would have been better served if she had several milking cows following her! That one Gaaard was that not the same one that was watching over Laaaaarreee in the Bahmas and a source for her book?
Well Ms. Cosby now we all get to see the 'tape' right? Hell I would bet that there is a bigger chance of a tape exisitng of you with a donkey! If you need some help finding that tape why not have those boobs who were protecting you look for it! And also you may want to call OJ and see if his people have found the killers.......Oh I heard that Lin Wood was preparing to rent some trucks to pull up to your publishers offices to fill with money as he has done before to others who did what you did in you wonderful 'tell all'.

Greta had a panel on last night and one of the guys I think he was an Attorney said that she went ahead and wrote this book on Hattens claims to have seen a video of two guys that "resembled" Howard and Larry.
