Josh Duhamel

Known more often as “that guy from that Vegas show” or Tad Hamilton, Josh Duhamel became popular as heartthrob Leo du Pres on the soap opera All My Children. After signing on to the primetime drama Las Vegas as the lead character Danny McCoy, he also landed the title role as a heartthrob who gives up a date with himself as a contest prize in the box office flop Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. In addition to his small screen role, Duhamel was also seen in the indie drama "Turistas" and as Commander Lennox in 2007’s live-action Transformers.

Although Duhamel announced on The View in January 2004 that he had gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend Kristy Pierce, the two soon split up. In December 2007, he and his girlfriend, Fergie, of the Black Eyed Peas, got engaged.

Duhamel had dreamt of being a dentist, but his grades were too poor, so he moved to sunny California and became a fashion model, winning the IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association) Male Model of the Year Award in 1997. It wasn’t long before he was discovered and made the move into acting, joining the cast of All My Children in 1999 and moving on to Las Vegas.
