Last week, we told you that Howard Stern had beef with Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams after the they snubbed him and girlfriend Beth Ostrosky during a run-in at Nobu. According to the New York Post, Ledger called Stern to make up after the radio jock complained about the incident on his show.
"Michelle and I were in a very deep conversation about something in our personal life. I was admittedly a little out of it. I apologize if we came off horribly," Ledger told Stern. Maybe they were discussing Michelle's dad, Larry Williams, who was recently busted on charges of international tax evasion?
No word as to what Ledger thought of Stern dissing his wife last week on his Sirius radio show, saying, “I caught the vibe she wanted to f–-k my old ass [when she was a guest on the show four years ago]. I think I coulda taken that tail at 21.â€

i never really pay any attention to Heath but i must say he is very nice to call and apologize. Howard is beyond confrontational.....he's tooo out there.....i have to say Heath has alot of class........

Oh my god Howard Stern came to someone table and that person blew him off, that person career is ruined, give me a break. I'm sorry Heath is out with his fiance and proably in deep thought and some one barges in on their conversation. Howard should be the one apologizing. Maybe if he took his first wife out for dinner so she could fill him in on his kids life he would have a clue right know.I think Heath and Michelle are great actors I'm not crazy about Howards forum of entertainment it is over the top for me. But some one seems to like him.

Most people who say Howard Stern is rude, gross, shocking don't even listen to Howard. I've been listening to since his move to Sirius and he's only for people who get sarcasm and possess a sense of humor. I did hear his diatribe about Heave and Michelle, and did think to myself that they could've been enmeshed in some personal convo, but geez--when Howard Stern comes over to you to say hello, you're somebody. Put on a happy face you ingrates. He's worth more than both of those flash-in-the-pans put together.

I know everyone expects Howard Stern to display rude,shocking behavior. But Heath took the high road in this case. And with regard to the comment he made about Michelle, she is WAY too classy for him to assume he had even a fraction of a chance to "take that tail". He may be rich, but he's also a perfect example of the old expression: "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still going to be a pig".
