Newcomer Ellen Page plants herself at center stage and never lets go as Juno, a quirky teen who beds best buddy Bleeker (Michael Cera), gets knocked up and plans to give the baby to a childless couple (Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman). Charming and funny, the dramedy’s filled with offbeat situations — such as showing Juno in an abortion clinic where a classmate is protesting, or fessing up to her sympathetic father and stepmother. It’s a sleeper that could be this year’s Little Miss Sunshine.
