Leo Saves Handicapped Madonna Fans from Madonna-less View

Leonardo DiCaprio came to the aid of two wheelchair-bound Madonna fans at Her Madgesty’s concert last week, Page Six reports. Francesco Clark, 28, - who was a staffer at Harper's Bazaar magazine until a car accident left him a quadriplegic - had front-row seats to one of Madge's shows at Madison Square Garden. But when Madonna came onstage, the crowd rushed forward and Clark's wheelchair was nearly knocked over.
 
"He couldn't see anything because people were all standing around him," a friend of Clark’s told Page Six. "He tried to move to the front, but no one would budge, and nobody cared. Then the security guard came over and was being rude and told him to move."
 
It was then that DiCaprio, 31, who was seated in a no-stand zone, came over and offered, "Why don't you come sit with me and I'll just move over?" Moments later, the actor moved another wheelchair-bound concertgoer over to his section as well.

Well NY is full of all sorts of people, some are kind and some are jerks. But its not just NY, its the whole world. Yes I give my kuddos to Leo for helping those people, but COMMON SENSE PEOPLE! Sad, it seems almost no one has any nowadays. Oh well, thats life. I have knee problems and I get yelled at when I take too long walking or something, I cant help it if I am in so much pain that I can barely move it but am because I have no choice. Like the wheelchair people, they can't help it so EASE OFF!

Leonardo is the type of celebrity that give celebrities a good image. His thoughtfulness of others and the environment showcases the type of human he is. Then what is with the constant exchanging of models to supermodels as girlfriends about? I suppose a man IS merely a man.

I was the other wheelchair-bound audience member referred to in this article, and Leo made my night! He didn't just do the right thing, but went out of his way, asking everybody to move down in his row for me, and then taking self photos of us with my camera. The security (w/ few exceptions) was so awful, but I did meet quite a few nice and helpful fans.

What Leo did wasn't noble or wonderful. He did the right thing. I guess now days thats pretty spectacular and it says a lot of good things about him and lot of bad things about the security guard and the fans. I don't mean to make it sound like I don't admire him, I do. I just can't help wonder why anyone wants to go see Madonna parade around like she is still a twenty year old. She's a 48 year old with a great body, but she's still a 48 year old. And a 48 year old can't and shouldn't try to be a 20 year old. Its really, really sad.

Maybe Madonna needs to get her head out of her a** and make sure that her concerts have accomidations for the handicapped. I was at a Def Lep concert a few years ago and they had a special section for the Make a Wish Foundation. It wasn't right in front, but it was sectioned off for children in wheelchairs and such.

I mean, who do you prefer? Orlando Bloom? Ugh.. Pu-lease! Leonardo is one of the most caring and most talented actors and I REALLY doubt that you have seen him... And I am pretty sure that you are the one who is rude and a snob, by the sounds of it!

And maybe he was horrid to you 'cos he can tell that you have a negative view towards everything!!

I guess that was very nice but I've served him many times in a restaurant I use to work at and he's rude, snob and most of all cheap.So I guess you got to be handicaped for him to be nice and kind.

it's ok peyton, i've learned to stand up for myself because of all that has happened...truly, i was quite the wallflower before LOL! sometimes people just get so wrapped up in what they are doing that they may not even realize they are doing it, some people are just rude and thoughtless, and in all honesty, it's hard to know the difference at the time that it's happening, you know? It would be nice though if we lived in a world where people did respect one another, all of us. I know I am not the only one that it happens to. A LONG time ago (y'all just remember when you read what I'm saying next that they were very famous at one time :D ) a friend and I had gone to a new kids concert. We had second row seats, so we had a clear view of what happened...there was this guys with a broken leg on crutches, and all these young girls were so excited about the group, they rushed the stage too, and knocked that guy down and literally started trampling him...it was the guys in the group that stopped what was happening. they stopped singing and ran to the guy, ALL of them, and had the security get him up, make sure he was ok, then had him come back stage. really, what can a few security guys do to stop an excited mob like that? it does say a lot about leo's character to offer his assistance to the guy. it's very admirable.

Whether the person on the wheelchair was aware of the fact that there was a handicap section or not . . . the people should've had a heart to realize that this person is in front of them. That, and the security guard should've came up to him and told him to go to the handicap section.

It warms up my heart that Leo had such a kind heart to offer these two people to sit in his section. Shows that he actually CARES unlike some people. He's an A-List celebrity . . . but he had the heart to show kindness to others.

I've always been a fan of his . . . ever since 1998. And now, this had just made me an even BIGGER fan.

Gotta love Leo!
