Hayden Panettiere Comes Clean: "I Don’t Have a Model's Body"

So maybe she isn’t Gisele Bundchen or Kate Moss.
Hayden Panettiere is OK with that.
“I don’t have a model’s body,” the Heroes star, 18, admits in the April issue of Cosmopolitan. “But I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m okay with what I have. I can rock this body, you know.”
What keeps her grounded? The actress (and whale rights enthusiast) says she skips out on clubbing.
“I think people look at me as just another one of those girls who’s going to screw up, like, ‘She’s going to get into drugs, and she’s going to get into parties,’” Panettiere says. “I have an occasional glass of champagne when I’m celebrating something, but generally, I don’t drink. I’m a pizza-and-a-movie girl.”
When it comes to choosing a mate, Panettiere (who’s currently dating co-star Milo Ventimiglia, 30) wants a man equally level-headed.
“I need somebody who is very secure,” she says. “In this business, I’m constantly standing next to gorgeous people.
“My job is to make out with [attractive] men. Like, hello, who wouldn’t be completely threatened by that?” she adds.“But, at the end of the day, you have to realize that it’s a job.”

I saw Hayden in New York this past November, was standing beside a friend of mine while she was talking to him, and can tell you that there isn't an ounce of fat on her face or figure.

To all the people wanting to make alcohol illegal, when has making something illegal ever stopped people from doing it? Since when does banning something have the desired effect? Most people (in case you were all born yesterday) tend to do the exact thing they are told not to do, illegal or not.

Alcohol is a drug. It should be illegal PERIOD! It is worse than pot. People get drunk, drive and kill others, shoot, murder people when they are drunk. Alcohol is addictive! It should not only be illegal for minors but it should be illegal for EVERYONE!

5:26, caffenine doesn't make people swirve into oncoming traffic or kill innocent people while you are driving. It doesn't make people go koo koo and get in fights. I have seen a thousand bar fights, but I've never seen a brawl at the local Starbucks!
How many people "have one too many" cups of coffee and wake up the next morning having no recollection of what they did, or regret the night before? I don't know anyone that reacts to coffee like that!
What a stupid question.
There are REASONS to make alcohol illegal. There are not reasons to make caffenine illegal.

Making alcohol illegal won't do anything. Look at prohibition, people ended up drinking anyhow and all we got out of that was the mob/maffia. Perhaps a safety feature of cars in the future could be to only allow the driver the ability to drive after the car tests his/her blood alcohol content. Have a breathalizer in the car that if you don't pass, you can't drive. I don't drink at all just because I don't like the taste of alcohol and I don't like being out of control, but I think people can drink responsibly. Like, if you're going to take a cab or public transportation, or you're going to do it in your own home, and always of course in moderation. But it's not going to work to outlaw/ban alcohol. Drugs are illegal and there's still easy access to them.

Also, just pointing out, the United States isn't the superpower of the world. Pretty much all countries have nuclear weapons, and with manpower, China can kick our asses, plus the Japanese are more advanced in technology than we are. I've not been able to stand her for a while, either. I remember when she was just a dinky thing on "One Life To Live." One of Viki's grandkids, I think. I also remember she was the voice of Dot on "A Bug's Life."
I agree, she shouldn't be drinking champagne at 18--who is giving it to her? Sure, she can handle it now (she says), but that's how a lot of the "partiers" start. To me (and your opinions may differ), she seems like she wants to grow up too fast (she's with a 30-year old boyfriend). Whether it is at home or out on the town, whomever's giving her (or any underage person, for that matter) the drinks is/are irresponsible.
Of course, she is NOT the only underage drinker out there, and I realize that.

admitting to have an occasional glass of champagne is a good role model....she admits that she can drink but knows how to control herself and doesn't need to go crazy partying and clubbing. instead, she can actu maturely. underage drinkers don't have to give up alcohol, the lesson should be not to binge drink
and i think she is completely gorgeous and such a great cover for this month's cosmo. she's actually a real person

ok keeping with her body image good for her and i know that when i was 15/16 yrs old i had more meat but now i am alot slimmer and it wasnt done on purpose, busy schedules and working is what made me slimmer and i personally never had any weight issues just now i am always on the run and i am sure she is too.
i am glad she was fighting for those dolphins i am a marine biologist and i have always loved dolphins, ever since i was little. they are truly magnificent creatures.
again here is another celebrity fighting for a cause and trying to make a difference!
so i dont think shes cocky i think shes confident! and she should be she made some really great movies and is on a hit TV show
so what if she has a glass of champagne every now and then, you can honestly sit there and tell me none of you have drank while under age? please at least we are not reading about her driving up and off ramp or getting a DUI or even stumbling out of a club.
and she has a great body and she is so not fat!
