Online reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot in New Orleans Saturday are "complete and total bulls--t," a source tells Usmagazine.com.
"Bottom line, they aren't even in New Orleans," the source tells Us.
Reps for Jolie, 32 and pregnant, and Pitt, 44, did not comment on initial reports that they wed at an unannounced ceremony in the French Quarter.
In 2006, Pitt stated that he and Jolie were waiting until gay marriage was legalized before they would marry.
"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," he told Esquire.
Jolie has brushed off the value of marriage.
"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together," she told Vogue in 2006. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing."
The couple, who have been together since 2005, have four children and three previous marriages between them.

People, gossip has been around as long as human beings. And it's not going anywhere. That's what this board is here for. We can talk and write about whatever we want. So please do not tell us to "shut up" (how rude! childish, silly little twit!) just because you disagree with us.
Celebrity news satisifies a kind of collective gossip in all of us. Is it superficial? Of course! So are gambling and sports. I don't hear anyone telling sports bloggers to "shut up." If men can pore over the sports scores for two hours on Sunday mornings, we can read our celebrity news and talk about it. Does it mean that we do not have time for anything else of substance in our lives? Hardly. I have a doctorate, a thriving career and family. A few minutes on the celebrity blogs every day isn't killing me. I find it rather refreshing. I would much rather that people work out their issues on the Internet than go postal or have road rage.
Love them or hate them, Brad and Angelina are two fascinating people. There's obviously something about this story - it speaks to the insecurities of a lot of American women, I think - that continues to interest a lot of people. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Everyone knows it's completely harmless. We know we do not really know these people. We know we will never meet them. And we certainly know that nothing we ever say could ever harm them. They will never even read it. We don't care. We are just discussing. It's all in good fun.
If you can not grasp the simple, harmless simplicity of that, then it sounds like YOU are the one with anger issues.
