Jerry Seinfeld was unharmed after being involved in a rollover car wreck Saturday in East Hampton, New York.
The comedian, 53, was driving alone when the brakes on his 1967 Fiat BTM stopped working, the New York Post reports.
As his vehicle headed into traffic on the highway, he pulled the emergency brake, but it didn't work, the Post reports.
So he cut the wheel to the right and the two-door sedan flipped over and came to a stop yards from the highway.
The car rolled onto the passenger side, then the roof and finally topped on the driver's side, according to the Post.
Amazingly, Seinfeld — who is believed to own 47 Porsches — walked away "without a scratch," his wife Jessica said.
"He was a little shocked when he walked in, and it started to dawn on him what happened," she said.
The comedian is making light of the incident.
"Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," he told the Post. "It is not something I plan to make a habit of."

I think the woman that claims that his wife "copied" the book was seeing $$ signs, and Jerry was normally talking about it. If I was him I would say the same thing about someone that was trying to sue me or someone in my family for a bogus reason
It didn't sound like a joke to me or a lot of other people. Just because he claimed it was a joke doesn't mean it was.

Well I can't stand him, but I don't wish death on him! He's lucky he wasn't on the freeway, or it could've been worse. Maybe this should be a warning to him to treat people better instead of publicly degrading them with name-calling (i.e. that woman whose book his wife allegedly "copied").

9:21 must have forgotten to take their Xanax this morning.... As for Jerry.. I am happy he is OK and not hurt. Car wrecks can be very bad and life changing. It is a blessing that he came out of it alright.

9:21 why is Jerry a has been? He's been busy out doing stand-up in the comedy circles and don't forget he voiced the main chaaracter in Bee Movie. Just b/c he's not on t.v anymore doesn't make him a has been. I don't care for his wife though... she still doesn't seem like a geniune person after she plagerized Missy Lapine's book, but that's ANOTHER story.....

9:21am-Your comment is pathetic. Disliking someone-and for whatever your reasons may be-is fine as long as you don't cross the line. You say you hate him yet why do you care if his wife is a golddigger (which I'd like to see proof of that). You are reminder of the sad little people that are in this world. And please be mature enough to realize that many do care that he was involved in an accident and are thankful he is alive and well. He is not a has-been and his sitcom stands out as one of the greatest comedies of all time.

I love Jerry and glad to hear he is ok. He is a decent man who manages to live a normal family life and does not need to be in spotlight constantly. He has proven his genius through a remarkably successful career, we should all be so lucky to be able to own 47 porches, live in the Hamptons, and 'choose' when we want to work. Well done Jerry!
