HILLS RECAP: Heidi Montag Shows Up at Lauren Conrad's Apartment

LC grows closer than ever to Spencer Pratt's sister Stephanie and even invites her to her birthday party!

LC grows closer than ever to Spencer Pratt's sister Stephanie and even invites her to her 22nd birthday bash. She thinks it's “awesome, honestly” that they're celebrating together. Unfortunately, Lo, Audrina and Whitney don’t share the love, but they all do find common ground when it comes to sporting shiny, pointy party hats.

Back at Heidi’s apartment, Spencer is picking up his belongings (again?). While taking a break from packing, he tries to get some clarity about their relationship (again?). “So are we dating?” he asks. “I’m not trying to meet guys,” she says. “If you’re trying to meet girls, then we should break up.” He fires back cloyingly, “I thought we were broken up.” Montag's retort? “I’m about to punch you in your face!”

When word gets back to Heidi and Spencer that Stephanie was at Lauren’s party, they are none too pleased. He calls her Brody, Jr. and makes her cry. Or, as Spencer would tell it, she makes herself cry. (See clip above)

Later, Heidi and Audrina run into each other at Vice. Audrina politely listens to Heidi talk about her problems with Spencer and agrees to let Heidi come over to pick up some things she left at the apartment when she moved out. When LC hears that Heidi was on her turf, she admonishes Audrina about getting too close to Heidi (Audrina insists she isn't).

Of course, one second later in previews for next week, we learn that Audrina, Heidi and Stephanie have been hanging out together. Also coming up: LC jumps ship from Teen Vogue to work at People’s Revolution with Whitney, and Heidi and Spencer wonder if they’re still together or broken up (again?).
