Jessica Simpson threw Tony Romo a 28th birthday party he'll never forget: She licked cake off his face!
The PDA-packed bash took place Saturday night at Suite, a lounge in Dallas, where "she sang him 'Happy Birthday,'" Kyle Kearbey of DMagazine.com, the Web site for Dallas' D Magazine, tells Usmagazine.com.
The two really seemed to enjoy the cake, which was in the shape of a Dallas Cowboys star and had Romo's No. 9 jersey number on it.
“They were kissing with lots of messy cake!" adds Kearbey. “Jessica had cake all over her hands and was licking her thumbs."
Adds another source, "It was a fun night, but it got too crazy with everyone trying to take pictures and come over. It was insane."
Simpson and Romo, says the source, "are doing great. They are really happy."
The bash comes days after Us broke the news that Ashlee is pregnant and engaged to rocker Pete Wentz.

Way back when she was a rolemodel, being a virgin on her wedding night I thought how refreshing someone that is not going to buckle under Hollywood pressure. Fast forward to the 1st episode of Newlyweds. I think that Nick is a talented hard working very loving man. While he is doing his own yardwork she was shopping. No stick in my nether-parts, however the one up yours seems to be causing quite a bit of distress. "classy vernacular"?? i wasn't aware that my posts would be critiqued for my using pretty common catchphrases and widely recognized slang. so how about: that woman looks completely disheveled and inebriated. i have no doubt romo had a gleeful expression on his face due to that fact the woman he's keeping company with comes across as someone of a very promiscuous nature.

Tony doesn't appear to be suffering. Neither does Jessica, although the misery of Cowboys and Nick (as in Lachey) fans is palpable. I love it! You may WISH it were different, but they (BOTH of them) are having a good time, and it shows.
