Britney Spears surprised "Rock The Cradle" contestants Thursday night by unexpectedly showing up for the season finale to support her former manager and friend Larry Rudolph.
"Rock The Cradle" pits aspiring pop stars, who have rock and roll in their DNA, against one another. The finale, which was broadcast on MTV, featured Jess Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider; Crosby Loggins, son of Kenny Loggins; and Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of Olivia Newton John. Rudolph judged the competition.
Spears spent the duration of the show seated backstage surrounded by security. After the show, Rudolph told usmagazine.com, "She was here to support the show. I mentioned to her that I was going to my show. She said, ‘I want to come down.’ She loved it. She really loved it. She didn't come here for publicity or anything like that. She came here because she wanted to see the show, which I appreciated."
Spears headed to the show after spending the day with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. It was the first extended visit since she, along with her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday for a custody hearing, where she was granted extended visitation rights by Commissioner Scott Gordon.

I am just glad to see positive thing being said about Britney Spears she needs a break and she need to be able to live her life without the camera's and the media in her around her. U GO Britney Keep Up the GOOD WORK and I can wait to see you back up and performing!
I like how he says "she didn't come here for publicity." Well, of course not. When you're Britney Spears, who is reported on even when she DOESN'T leave her house, (or when she makes a run to Starbucks), you hardly need more publicity.
It has been reported she's bi-polar. She was brought to UCLA medical center where they specialize in bi-polar disorder. Her behavior doesn't match whatsoever with her behavior beforehand. If she's not bi-polar she is suffering from something similar. Clearly a mental disease of some sort. I have known people with mental disorders and when they stop taking their meds they act very similarly to how Britney was acting before her dad stepped in. It's very sad because they know something's wrong but they don't know how to fix it.
11:42 are you a doctor? If not, then you can't really say that she DOES have a mental disorder. And even if you are a doctor, just because you say she is bipolar, doesn't mean you're right.

While it may not be exactly bipolar, it's certainly more than just a "rough patch". Besides, you're not a doctor, so you really can't say it's NOT a mental disorder.

Actually I can say whatever I want. And I never claimed to be a Doctor. My opinion is Doctors OVER-DIAGNOSE people in America. Everyone seems to have some sort of disorder. I think sometimes the doctors are right, sometimes they are wrong. Sometiems meds help, sometimes they screw you up even more.
Not for publicity my ass! Your magazine would not be reporting it if it wasn't for publicity. Grow up Britney and get a life!
GO BRITNEY!!!

I am not convinced that Britney has/had bipolar disorder. Doctors are too quick to diagnose everyone with some sort of disorder, ADHD, bipolar, depression, boarderline personality disorder, etc. I think she just went through a rough patch. She was depressed about Kevin, the kids, hanging out with weirdos, probably drinking too much. Now she is probably off her meds and with her family, away from Sam Lufti and so she is getting herself together. Just because someone goes through a hard time in their life, doesn't mean they have a disorder.
the singers on that show are absolutely horrendous. they really shouldnt have made this show because it just further confirms the common belief that the reason any of these sorts of people get anywhere is because of their parents. all of them put together compare nothing to the american idol people or even girlicious!
Anonymous 7:54 said, "considering the fact she is bipolar and had many many breakdowns." I know you mean well, but you don't know any of that. You have access to her medical records?? Shrinks won't make a diagnosis of bipolar without a period of careful consultation. They certainly don't base it on speculation. "Many many" breakdowns? A series of traumas and a period of several months unable to cope and overcome inappropriate responses - yes. But many many breakdowns? No.
I agree 9:13. We saw her and her Mr. Money in concert and she is really good (and no doubt he rocks) I don't think she will disappear now just because she didn't win the show.
I can't i love the show and I love Brit.
I'm stiff miffed that Jesse Money got voted off. I wanted her to win.
I'm glad Brit had fun at the Rock The Cradle finale last night, 5/8, congrats to Crosby Loggins, son of Kenny Loggins, who won the show, $100,000 and a recording contract, etc.
I am so happy to see and hear that Britney is getting her life back together. I suffer from Bipolar disorder and I know how hard it is to stay healthy. I think she is in the right hands now, with her parents. I am praying for you Britney, stay strong and don't give up!!!
Why would the people on the show really care if she was there supporting them anyway? They already know what fame is like from their parents. If Britney wasn't there for publicity then why is Rudolph even talking about it. Good for her though, thank goodness her parents finally stepped in to help her take control of her own life again.
so, britney spears is doing very well, considering the fact she is bipolar and had many many breakdowns. now she has guest starred on how i met your mother and now rock the cradle. that is awesome that she is doing so well for herself. congrats brit!
I love her hoodie.

News of a romance between John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston broke last month when the Miami Herald spotted the duo acting "all cozy" during lunch at a restaurant there. Aniston was in Florida filming "Marley & Me." In Touch reported Mayer checked into the Four Seasons hotel but spent hardly any time there, hanging out instead at Aniston's suite at the Mandarin Oriental.
No question about it, the singer has been linked to a long list of stars, including the Pussycats Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz -- with whom he's remained so close, he attended her dad, Emilio's, recent funeral.
Aniston herself reportedly is worried -- mainly because she really likes Mayer. "It wouldn't be a big deal if this was just a casual thing,'' said the friend. "But Jen isn't into 'casual'. ... She wants a real, solid, genuine relationship.''
STILL OBSESSED: Then there's this new development: Just when we thought Aniston had let go of the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt thing, recent press coverage of Brangelina being in the South of France "has made Jen brood about all that all over again,'' another Aniston source told me Tuesday.
MAYER'S SECRET: As for the dark-haired crooner, Aniston -- like many of "He's very old-fashioned about a woman -- opening doors, standing when a woman comes to the table ... things like that,'' said the music industry source.
She needs to stay out of trouble.
oh britney I feel an explosion of a comeback. Stay strong.

Britney looks 10 million times better than she did a year ago!! It's great that she's taking her recovery seriously. If only Amy Winehouse would do the same.
