Liv Tyler is bouncing back from her split from rocker husband Royston Langdon according to her dad.
"Liv is doing great," Aerosmith's Steven Tyler told Usmagazine.com of his daughter at the Fourth Annual Musicares Map Fund benefit in Hollywood on Friday.
A rep for the couple confirmed to Us they were separating on May 8. They have a son, Milo, 3.
"They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time," the rep added.
The actress, 30, married the Arckid rocker, 36, in 2003.
Us had reported two weeks ago that the couple were talking divorce. Tyler's rep had no comment at the time.
A source overheard the actress seeking advice from a lawyer on the phone.
"In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a 'leech' on her assets, and she said she got married too young," the source told Us.
Tyler – who said in 2004, "I don't believe in divorce" – told Us in February she had forgotten about Valentine's Day.

Rock Star? Never heard of him before he married her. I knew when you showed us the pictures of them in Hawaii there was trouble in Paradise. "Fed up" was written all over her face....and I guess we all know why now. Leech!

I am so shocked and I can't believe it. I thought they were happy.
They seem like a quiet family. Calm, warm and loving. At least thats
what it seemed like to me. I was hoping that they would add another
playmate for little Milo. So sad. I wish Liv nothing but the best
for her and her son. She's a beautiful woman. I hope that everything
works out for the best... In peace and unlike the immature celeb couples
fighting it out in the public eye.

oh noo, Jennifer Aniston is now hooking up with John Mayer...that surely won't go AnyWHere....what makes her think suddenly she can handle casual relships? Maybe she thinks just bc she got plastic surgery - her confidence went up - so now she can "handle" sleeping around willie nillie...dont think so...has nothing to do w confidence or no confidence imo...it's going to backfire on her, and she'll feel miserable again, and the whole world is gonna watch, again...must really suck to be in the spotlight like that...she should just wait until a guy comes along who's worth her investment imho...and JM??? if you're gonna have a fling, at least make it count, girl!!

i have always known that they wouldn't last. he is not good enough for her. why did she even bother dating this loser guy that is ugly and much shorter than her?!? now she has to pay him alimony and she has the baggage of having a son with him. she cannot cut him out of her life completely because they have a son together.
