VIDEO: HILLS RECAP: Spencer Pushes His Luck to Win Heidi Back in Vegas

The Hills third season finale picked up where last week left off: with Heidi in Las Vegas for a new job prospect and homeless and depressed Spencer sulking at her homestead in L.A.

Clued into his girl’s plans to work – perhaps permanently - with boss Brent Bolthouse on a new project in Vegas, Spencer has an a-ha moment and enlists sis Stephanie as his Sin City accomplice. "We're going to Vegas!" he enthuses, clearly on a mission.

Arriving on the Strip, Spencer sneaks up on Heidi as she sips business cocktails at Dos Caminos with her bosses. Embarrassed, Heidi excuses herself from the table and the two duke it out in classic Speidi style. Finally, Spencer puts his cards on the table: "We need to be together – Just come back to L.A. with me."

Without a fight, Heidi succumbs to Spencer's plea, missing her flight home with her bosses to travel with her boyfriend instead. Could things be looking up for these love-to-hate-them lovers?

Back in the Hills, LC desperately attempts toreconnect with Audrina, who decides to make a move to check out other apartments with Justin Bobby in tow. Trouble in paradise? So says Lauren, who is distraught over her faltering friendship with her former bestie. The tipping point? Audrina is a no-show at LC's roommate bonding dinner.

That’s it, Lauren declares, as she makes the long trek to Audrina’s guesthouse, only to find her pal anxious to place blame – on Lo. In a civil-for-the-cameras conversation, Audrina finally admits that she thinks Lo is causing their bond to break. "Everything was fine when it was just me and you living together, and...[with] Lo in the picture, you're distant from me,” Audrina says.

Lauren's response? "Lo has done nothing to push us apart on my side. I never let the opinions of others affect my friendships."

Sometimes, three really is a crowd.

I still put the majority of the blame on Lauren and Lo. It's obvious that neither of them ever wanted Audrina in the house, but neither of them wanted to look bad by saying so. Now that they're not having as much fun as they thought they would, they're trying to force her out with their passive-aggressive behavior. Lo said herself that Audrina didn't owe them anything, but then backtracked and said that she expected her roommates to be her best friends, which Audrina obviously was not. But seriously, when have we seen Lo make an effort to even say hello to Audrina? All she does is make snide remarks and talk behind her back.

Let's look at who Lauren STILL talks to and is FRIENDS (sometimes with benefits)
There's Jason:in rehab at for the FIRST time at 16, multiple arrests for battery and public intoxication, on record for being as racist and using the n word multiple times, banned from Lauren's complex for his violent behavior, lied and cheated on Lauren in public
Next there's Brody who hooked up w/ her best friend, lied to her and found a new gf while lauren was away for a week in paris (what a charmer) and last but far from least
there's Stephen who repeatedly lied to her, and continually led her on
Now I'm not saying Justin is a saint but to bash Audrina for talking to him when Lauren is still friends with this bunch is a little bit ridiculous.

PS Any "fame" Audrina has acheived has been because of Adam Divello - the show's creator. Audrina was cast for the show. She wasn't like Heidi riding in on Lauren's coat tails.

I agree with you all that Lo is a 1st class b*tch but what bugs me even more is that Lauren is always sitting right there when it goes down. Miss Lauren who always spouts off about loyalty and friends who betray friend. What a hypocrite. She couldn't get enough of Audrina last year when Lo wasn't around, she even called Audrina her best friend on several episodesand in magazine interviews. And now Lauren has "nothing in common" with Audrina and it's cool to talk behind her back and make fun of her friends and let Lo berate her to death? With friends like Lauren who needs enemies.

And hell yeah she gained a shocking amount of weight. She was this tiny little thing on Laguna
now she's a heffer in need of a serious attitude ajustment. I can't wait till season 4 when Audrina tells her off in a big way. She's had that coming for foreva! The only good thing in all this "mess" is I've discovered how much I really like Audrina and Justin too.

She is going to end up one of those trophy wifes with bruises and black eyes. wait and see. She really screwed herself for that job and i have no sympathey for her any longer. Lo has always been a b*tch, and she has definitely gained a ton of weight since high school graduation. Last season when she visited she was REALLY huge! Now she looks to have lost a couple of pounds, but as far as her looks are concerned, she can't keep up with LC, Whitney, Audrina, and even Heidi. When Heidi and Spencer come onto the screen I go back to surfing the web. They are so boring and I'm over their phony relationship. Can't wait for season 4! Team LC, Audrina, and Whitney!!!

why did Heidi take Spencer back?? She is so much better off without him!! She had the PERFECT job lined up and he runied it for her!! He's so selfish and that's probably why LC doesn't like him!! I am so over Lo. What the heck does Lauren see in that girl. She's ugly and she's mean. She's also BORING to watch. You know something is wrong when the best scenes are w/ Lauren & Whitney and Audrina & Justin. I hope Audrina gets that loft apt and they focus more on her dating life and her job at Sony next year. Enough of Lo and enough of Speidi already! Season 4 is gonna suck if they keep this up.
