There’s a reason former flames Kate Bosworth, 23, and Orlando Bloom, 28, didn’t pop up at the same events during Fashion Week in NYC last week. Their handlers made sure they didn’t.
A source tells Page Six, "Their people have been speaking every hour to make sure Orlando and Kate avoid each other at all costs. They have been coordinating schedules." After four years of on-and-off-again dating, the couple split two weeks ago.

Oh Lord! I have to say, I have done some things to avoid someone who at the time wasn't even an ex yet...but I was in the process of weighing the pros and cons of breaking up with him. I feel bad about it now, but I used my injury to avoid going out with him...I should have known that he ultimately would not be someone whom I would really like to date when we first started dating and he would come over to my house and just never leave, he would just sit on the couch like a bump on a log and not say a word...finally I just started giving him Midol to make him sleepy whenever he complained of a headache so that it would make him tired enough to go home...and yep, it worked, and yep, I eventually told him what I had done LOL! it was funny at the time, it's not now, but jeez! he wouldn't go home until he was about to fall asleep! I finally decided I just could not be in a dating relationship with this person and bid him adieu...2 months later, he was engaged to another woman! there's something wrong with wanting to be married just for the sake of being able to say you are married, but oh well...not my business, and glad he found someone who could stand his bizarre behaviour LOL!

Well, in my experience, the constant arrangements that must be made to avoid eachother usually indicates a very bad breakup, & the cause of the very bad breakup is usually something very bad. My ex & I had mutual friends when we broke up & went crazy arranging & scheduling so that we wouldn't have to see eachother...Well, one night the schedule got mixed up...we went out in the same group...him with his new girlfriend, me with my new boyfriend...What a horrible night for us! now, either of us could have left, but we felt we both had the right to be there b/c it was "our turn." Totally ridiculous. Now 10 years later...I still hurl chunks at the mention of his name...

When I broke up with this guy I dated for 5 years, he stopped by a mutual friends house and as he was walking in the front door I was walking out the back. Eventually I could go around him again but I still felt awkward. They are supposed to do a movie together too. That sucks! She needs to EAT!!
