Paris Charged With DUI; “How Do You Spell That?” She Wonders

Paris Hilton was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher on Tuesday.
"That is pretty routine for us to file both,” Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells Us. “And they are technically two charges."
The misdemeanor charges stem from Hilton's arrest earlier this month. The heiress was pulled over on September 7 in Hollywood after police spotted her driving erratically and she blew a .08 blood alcohol level, the minimum for a DUI in California.
Hilton claimed she only had one margarita the night of her arrest, and was merely speeding because she was “starving” for an In-N-Out burger.
The heiress’ arraignment is scheduled for September 28. The charges carry a maximum penalty of $1,000 and six months in jail. The minimum mandatory would include an alcohol program like AA.
We’re betting she brings a celebratory round of ’ritas as an ice breaker. And a date.

is the nice guy that made it "Country Wide" by witholding highway funds
if the "states" didn't "lockstep:", he is the biggest booser & drug addict this countryhas ever known (or will know) ...my daughter was hit head on by a drunk driver at age 21 and I STILL think this whole drunk driving things is a BIG MONEY MAKER & nothing more...putting people in jail (if they don't have the money) & runining lives of those that have the money (with NO chance of recovery!)
Don't worry Oprah will never run this story....

How dare they put Paris in jail! The courts have gotten out of hand. The Supreme Court takes private land and award it to corporations and the latest, in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, the Court gave a shocking decision against women. What is happening here? Is there a war against women?

I dont think Paris realizes how her actions can affect others........She should have to sit in on a years worth of therapy sessions for people who have lost a loved one because of a drunk driver...She needs to feel the pain that they feel and see up close how stupid people can ruin lives, ......Having lost my best friend, who was also a mother of four, six years ago, I see the devastation that the actions of one can cause on dozens of people......

She broke the law If you or I did what she did we would be lucky to only get 45 days in jail! Get real people she was born rich that does not mean she's above the law! You do the crime you MUST do the time!!!! To the people who hate me for saying this, Good luck if you ever do anything wrong because you will get in trouble and do you really think Paris will help get you out of it? I don’t think so!!!! Keep a pet for it's full life time. Even though that makes sense to most, to Paris pets have to be renewed like accessories.

Everyone knows she will get a slap on hte wrist. Ya know the saying....money talks. What is so funny though is that a normal everyday individual would face jail time, fines and probation. The justice system (I use the term "justice" very loosely) is soooo screwed up....celebrities can hack up their ex-wives (OJ) and steal thousands of $$$$ worth of items (Winona) and walk away with a slap on thw wrist.....That really stinks!!!

Good, I'm glad Paris is getting punished. Its about time she realize, she is not above the law. She went on Ryan Seacrest's radio show the day after the arrest, and said it was "no big deal" would it be a big deal if she hit or even killed someone? She acts so retarded. What's funny, is how her PR people, family always stick up for her. They are keeping mum on this latest DUI charge, interesting, huh?
