Yeah, Kim is doing a good job. That is why she has more than 10 contempt of court charges for failure to comply with parental visitation orders. She has years of blocking the father's access. Quite likely has worked to poison the child's mind against her father as well.

I think Kim is a vindicative spiteful ex-wife who has seen that the most effective way to cause hurt to an ex-partner is to attack their relationship with their children. I think she is sick, using a child as a pawn to satisfy her own desires for revenge.

Alec is certainly angry. If a man shows anger that his children are being taken away from him, he must have anger issues. If a mom shows anger and outrage, she is being a good mother? This whole "Mother centric" approach is appalling.

As for the woman that posted about "Dad's rights" over-riding "Child's rights" or "Mother's rights" you are living in a fantasyland that doesn't exist. Over 80% of cases of custody provide sole custody to the mother. Interestingly enough, if you look up the data on child abuse published by the US Dept. of Health and Human Services, of single parent children that are abused, 58% are abused by a single mother vs 42% by a single father. So, why do women win in 80% of the cases? It's obviously not the best interests of the child or the father.

Why is it always Alec and his lawyers who are making comments to the press? We are always hearing his pathological self centered side where he behaves like a celf centered celebrity expecting his daughter and ex wife to worship him. What 12 year old girl wants to talk to a dad who calls her a pig? Alec needs to move on with his life.

I think that poor Kim married a psychopath and that poor little Ireland is paying the price. Kim will suffer too. A mother'rs job is to protect her children but the laws believe in Fathers' rights over childrens and mothers rights these days. Luckily Kim has enough money to play the game. A game where the stakes are high and no one wins. A game that many mothers are forced to play. Alec is clearly violent and abusive. A custody battle is the perfect battleground for an angry controlling, psychopath seeking revenge. People who are not involved with a psychopath are not aware at how easily they color outsiders perceptions making the victim look like a malady. Perhaps, a psychopaths best stategy is to convince the public and courts that at the very least, each partner abuses each other. In fact, living with a psychopath would make anyone a nervouse wreck to say the least. It would take all one's strength to seperate from one. When the psychopath no longer has access to his victim, he or she goes crazy trying to maintain that connection. In this case, that connection is little Ireland. The number one weapons right now with the Fathers rights movement is PAS, leveraging the child, and false allegations of denied visitation. These strategys work very well for the abuser and the court cash registers ring "ching, ching, ching. Custody battles are big money, so why would a court want to end this quickly, painlessly, and civilly. Whose interests are really being looked out for?

Kim, you keep protecting her from him and keep yourself safe too. The worst thing that could happen as someone said is that Ireland gets consumed with bitterness. Better get yourself and her some counseling.

I think that Ireland should be with her mother 24/7. From all these rumors about Mr. Baldwin and his freaky ways, Ireland would be best suited with Ms. Basinger.

Who should get custody of Ireland? Neither Alec Baldwin nor Kim Basinger, until the two said squabblepusses find a reasonable way to resolve that spat.
The kid should stay with the grandparents instead.
I've heard of marriage counseling, but right now, I'm all for divorce counseling for those celebs going through or have gone through crappy all-too-public divorces.
