The View
By JOHN GRIFFITHSAIRS: Weekdays

This could get awkward! Feisty liberal Rosie O’Donnell, chirpy conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck and the other hosts welcome überconservative Bill O’Reilly (he discusses his new tome, Culture Warrior). Grey’s Anatomy’s charming Kate Walsh also pops by. (ABC, Wednesday, October 18, 11.a.m.)

It will be a cold day in *%#@ before I would watch the price is right, hosted by the Queen of the Lesbians.
Rosie and Joy get so nasty about politics and neither really knows what they are talking about, 75% of the time they are wrong and don't have the true facts. They both make me quite ill and when they start the nasty political remarks I turn to another channel, they are not intelligent enough to talk about politics in a calm factual, TRUTHFUL WAY. calling people names is grade school nonsense, they both need to grow up, I was sick of Joy before Rosie even came on, after, she became worse, I assume she childishly felt braver with Rosie to agree with her, they are both so far left it is an insult to our troops and our country. Good to be rid of Rosie, now send Joy packing also. By the way I am a Democrat. but we don't need radicals like them in our camp.
I am tired of listening to Rosie make everyone who doesnt agree with her opinions out to be idiots. Each of us are entitled to our opinions which is what makes this a great country yet to Rosie if you dont agree with her then your opinion just doesnt matter. I think that the bully got her feelings hurt because Elizabeth wont stand behind something she doesnt agree with. I am proud of Elizabeth even if I did wish it wouldn't have played out on tv. Rosie I dont think is a bad person...just needs to understand that if you stick your foot in your mouth or say something that offends others that you have to be ready to deal with people who will confront you on it. She was like a spoiled child who was told NO for the 1st time.
I may not always agree with Rosie, but I do respect her for not backing down and kissing peoples behinds. I stopped watching the view after Star Jones got a BIG head and did not watch again until Rosie. I like Joy but--- Elisabeth gets on my last nerve. I want her to get a voice coach and another coach to teach her how to open her mouth. Rosie has made the view so interesting and her and Joy are the best. Face it what is so good about Elisabeth?????? I love Joy but, if they do win the daytime award, it is because Rosie has helped you and no one else to win this. Lets face it, you and Joy make the show. I love Sherrie that guest hosted. Look at the shows without Rosie and it is dead.
rosie thinks herview is the only view!!! remember, there is three other women sitting at the table. i bet barbara gave them both a good 100 noodle lashings!!!
The View
I am in my late sixties and am not use to being able to voice my opinion about my government, but thanks to the women of the view, that has changed. But on Wednesday (5/23) regretfully and for the first time EVER, I turned off the tv in the middle of the view. The pettiness between Elizabeth and Rosie, has become too obvious. They are using their political differences to critize and demean our troops in Irag. They get so wound up in their differences, that they believe they can say anything. Their fight is no longer about politics or the war, it's about their differences. Instead of allowing each other the right to believe as they choose, they engage in name calling, long speaches, and then have the nerve to call each other "friend". I would love to be able to say that I believe, in my heart, that they did not mean to portray their thoughts and words in such a negative manner, but I can not do that. Why, because they no longer portray loving caring US citizens, but rather vindictive, mean spirited women who are willing to stoop to any means to further their efforts to to change each other. Ladies, please consider the following; STOP YOUR PRIVATE WAR AND WHEN YOU SPEAK OF OUR TROOPS, BE RESPECTFUL AND THINK OF THOSE OF US WHO HAVE A LOT TO LOOSE. Why?, because when you speak to each other the respect that you use to show us (the viewers) is gone. Right now you are the perfect example of why that war continues. Its called politics and it consumes "The View" program. So if your find fault with my spelling or my intent is not clear, have a go at me, because while you are discussing, insulting and demeaning me, you are leaving others alone. And when I have had enough, I just hit the "off" button.
