Come on girls...is it not okay for females to go for males that want them? i seems to be a huge problem when Vanessa goes for Nick when girls who aren't celebrities go to clubs every night and jump on any random guys lap...give her a break..stop being so jealous and just get a life.

Vanessa is very aggressive -- Another lost for Nic. There is no comparison between her and JESSICA SIMPSON who has a glamour and innocent look, a beautiful voice and can act. Many magazines were comparing her pictures to Jess's pictures, and stated she has desperately tried to copy Jessica's style, but she'S still not popular in people's eyes, and not ever close.

Vanessa is a beautiful Filipino woman, and so what if she jumped on Nick's lap. Is that too quick for people?

She had a career way before nick and jessica even got a divorce yeah she's a vj so what she can do more she's done more she was modeling and posing for magazines way before Nick came in the picture plus she's more down to earth then alot of celebs out there she enjoys playing and watching sports how many female celebs do you know that like doin that not very many... i don't think it will hurt her career.. Vanessa is no dummy nor is she unattractive. It just depends on what one finds attractive, no? I think she is cute but I have seen better; and no I'm not hatin' on anyone. As far as her career, the mere fact that she was Miss Teen USA helps, is currently dating Nick Lachey and is on TRL will work in her favor. She does have knack (sp) for dating the ones that are in the spotlight. But, hey, she did move to NYC to be a 'star'. She is getting her wish. But, as we always know, be careful what you wish for. Jessica Simpson wished to be famous and have the paparazzi follow her... now, the media is tearing her apart.

I disagree with you, Giselle- Vanessa was HARDLY considered anyone before she was with Nick. Even when she dated Derek Jeter her name was not in the press. Being a host of TRL hardly means celebrity status. Maybe with a younger age group, or people who don't have jobs and have time to watch MTV in the middle of the day, but most people were like "Vanessa who?" when the news of Nick first came out. I think originally her motive was to use her relationship with Nick to advance her career, but I think that her feelings are now more sincere. I hope she has the best intentions, anyway, because Nick is a great catch. I think he can do better than both Vanessa and Jess!

Sorry, but Vanessa had her own career way before she met Nick. She was already a VJ on TRL, on the cover of Cosmo, an ET Reporter, and not to mention a former Miss Teen USA. So anyone who is saying that she's just using Nick is dumb as she dated Derek Jeter before, and Derek Jeter is a bigger name than Nick's. So I don't know where all these "She's using Nick" statments are coming from. Nick is a grown man and already learned his lesson with the dumb blonde. So if knew what she was up to, he'd know. Vanessa also supports Nick by going with him on his tour and flying across the globe to meet up with him. Go to youtube and search Nick singing to Vanessa. He's very smitten with her!

I've met her once at a charity event, and I can say that she is one of the sweetest people I've met. She's a strong and intelligent woman and very articulate. One thing you guys may not know her about is that she's really great at sports. Unlike Jess who doesn't know what she's talking about when being interviewed, hates sports, and never supported Nick's career.

Becoming a pussycat doll couldn't hurt her career, because she doesn't have one! If you consider dating nick a career or sleeping with a yankees player a career then i guess i am wrong. The only reason why anyone even knows sho she is, is because of Nick. I don't consider sleeping around in hollywod a career, but if she takes the stage as a pussycat doll well then i guess it's a step up then.
