Meet LX.TV (aka “Lifestyle Television”), the online lifestyle and entertainment television network formerly known as Code.TV. It has relaunched and – like YouTube -- wants to wreak havoc on your ability to accomplish your goals throughout the work day.
But this ain’t amateur videos of cats tackling kittens or kids with light sabers and questionable social skills. It’s all shiny, easy-to-navigate, yet just as distracting.
MTV veejay SuChin Pak (you love her narration skillz on Cribs) plays a large role in the network. Check out her series called Drinks With LX, in which she interviews entertainment personalities over “several drinks.” (Well, that’s good. Everyone knows that nothing interesting happens until after drink #3.) She’s already filmed several installments with “Lady Runway” Tim Gunn, which you can see here.
It's also full of service-y videos on everything from how to do the perfect blowout to fun vacation destinations. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t direct you towards the “I-Bankers Gone Wild At NYC’s Most Decadent Nightclub” video in which investment banker “A.J.” shows you how to “ball” on Thursday nights. Balling can apparently be accomplished by rolling up to a club “top down” and surrounding oneself with “models and bottles.” He also emphasizes the importance of “appropriate arm candy,” by which he means girls who wear shirts with no backs to them.
Enjoy!
