It seems really important to me to know who to blame here,and yes, I think someone is. I think it is Kim. The need of mothers to control their children, to think of men as just a sperm donor, to think of aggressive behavior as the worst thing in the world, and to paint themselves as fragile-probably with great sincerity, but without any depth or genuine delving in to their own souls-this tendency is no help to our culture.

People are aggressive. People get angry. To relegate everyone who gets loud or verbally abusive to the dustheap, to generalize and make them the same as criminals, or wife-beaters, and to hide in corners pretending that 'good' people do not lose control, do not have aggressive feelings much less express them, is to create a repressive and truly dangerous environment. I was stunned by the fate of Howard Dean. The man's career was over because he bellowed with excitement!! Are we so very, very superficial? Apparently we are. This lack of relationship with the realities of human nature, with the need for resilience, for passion, for argument, this fear of life itself will undermine us more profoundly than terrorism. We will drown, our bathetic tears forming a moat around each person, as the sun reflects the shining rectitude with which we cloak ourselves, like so many Narcissi.

I think Irland is the only one being hurt by these two parents. Alex has anger problem that has been thrown out there so much I believe his accusers. Kim thinks she is saving her daughter from these rages by keeping her daughter away from Alex. Even going so far as to leak info to the press when Alex act up. Which is hard for me to understand why you want people to hear your child called names. Some one needs to save this child from her ill parent before she becomes another Hollywood Rebel.

alec baldwin is an abusive creep. the courts should keep this child away from him. He was abusive to Kim and it made me cringe that he would talk to his daughter like this. pathetic. fire him from his show.

Let me get this straight... Alec tells his daughter that he has been "humiliated" because he couldn't "get to a phone" at a certain time to call her???? Does this bratty imbecile not have his own cell phone?

And Alec? You were wrong. Your call on Wednesday wasn't the last time you were humiliated because of the phone.....having your juvenile behavior splashed worldwide on Friday was.

I do not feel sorry for either Kim or Alec. I feel bad for Ireland. Her dad is worthless, her mom needs to keep this stuff out of the public eye. Dad get a life. Ireland is now 11 or 12 (gee can you not remember how old your own child is - again what a loser) and she probably has better things to do than wait for you to decide to call her. Kids do have lives and do have friends (even movie stars kids) and when they reach a certain age they do want to start exerting some independence.

I hope Ireland is not messed up by her dad and what he does. Also think for a minute. If Alec will do this on a voice mail which could be used as proof of instability, what does he do when there is no way to prove anything? Think about that little tidbit America, and would you want that child around a man like that?

I didn't think so at first but now after all Denise's craziness and then acting like NOTHINg ever happened. Now I do. She's another one who's a little off....

I remember at one point thinkin she was the sexiest woman in the world... and I do like her I just don't think she has shown to be all that stable herself to take what she says as "gospel". See I know everyone going to start to jump on this bandwagon of "hating Alec" I can see it brewing on TMZ already and from what I see they are Pro kim & will spin their stories accordingly. The only reason we're aware of what happened is because "someone" has a selfish agenda...kinda like Denise Richards did to Charlie Sheen, yet weeks later she's like were working it out and charlie is a great dad...huh? Anyway good luck Alec... with all the press lookin to get everyone involved & sell mags now... you're going to need it :)

This is a situation that has been brewing & going on for years....we're simply saying that yes even despite Alecs actions, Kim & possibly Ireland are contributing to the "out of hand" escalating situation. So No we're not going to just burn up Alec for this alone. You guys are narrowly focusing on one call...we're simply trying to get you to wrap your mind around the "WHOLE" situation. It's alot bigger than this 1 message and alot more has been done by both parties in regards to this young girl. You guys just want to close your eyes to every thing else and focus on this one call like everthing has been kosher before this. It's not like he woke up one day & made this nasty call cuz he doesn't love his child and wanted to hurt her. Again he mishandled the situation, something done by his ex-wife as well.
