He’s a dashing blond naval officer who does charity work, competes in Ironman triathalons and is a doctor, but some fans of The Bachelor say they’re no fan of Lt. Andy Baldwin.
They say he tries too hard to please. That he’s insincere. That he’s a bit pre-pubescent (mechanical bull, anyone?) But … well, he’s a dashing blond naval officer who does charity work, competes in Ironman triathalons and is a doctor.
We’re torn.

I am a huge fan of The Bachelor, but I have not always been a fan of the bachelors chosen for the show. In my opinion, this year's bachelor is probably the best they have ever had. He is definitely the most fit. He is handsome. He is sincere and stands for something. He seems to be a great man all around.

Why does someone always have to bring up the race thing? It's ignorance like that, that teaches our children hate in this world. My daughter is half Filipino and she hasn't said, "Mom, why dont they have an Asian Bachelor on there?" GET OVER IT!! Maybe nobody of "color" has submitted an application or maybe they did and didn't qualify. Who knows?

I have been in the military for almost 19 years and have seen, interacted and dated a few of them. I think Andy may be a little naieve, but he has a great heart, cares about people and he's hot. Who would not want to fall in love with and marry a guy that is gorgeous and has an awesome giving personality. He is a doctor and in the Navy. I think he is great. What most people are commenting on here is the way the networks portray him. I am sure he cant be his TRUE self in front of us. He does kiss a lot of women though. Ah well...live in the moment. LOL!

I have to say, out of all The Bachelors, Andy might not be the best looking, but he's by far the best guy, most sincere and a true gentleman. Past Bachelors just care about the hook ups, Andy looks like he's really looking for love. Would I date someone like him, YESSSS I married a real LT., but would I do it in national tv, and share the guy with other women NOOOO FREAKIN' WAYYYY!!! Those ladies are just wacky!!!!
