In what is, hands down, our favorite story so far this year (it even beats the cop from the Village People going to J-A-I-L), ABC News explores the deductibility of the rapper Nelly's multi-carated teeth:

Several tax experts agree that Nelly's bejeweled teeth — celebrated in the hit "Grillz" — should be treated as a business expense and be deducted on the rapper's income tax return.

Because of the unique nature of their work, entertainers often claim deductions that most other people wouldn't try getting away with. In many cases, costly costumes, high-priced personal trainers, and even plastic surgery can be written off as a cost of doing business.

"I got my mouth lookin' somethin' like a disco ball," Nelly and co-singer Paul Wall rap in their hit single, an ode to their gem-encrusted dentures. Wall's oral ornamentation alone, featuring 65 princess-cut diamonds, is valued at $16,000.

Really, this write-off is a victory for both the grill-less and those who purchase their mouths at Tiffany's. After all, if you're going to get all up in someone's grill, you want something pretty to look at while you're there.
