Yes, she called Heath her "husband" last year, but he also referred to her as his "wife". They made that step together. Yes, he admitted that "their bodies made that decision for them" but that didn't mean he thought it was a bad thing. Yes, they had only been dating 8 months when she became pregnant . . . but it was reported years ago (when Heath first started out) that he does not like to use condoms. And sometimes, one slips past the pill. Guess what? That sometimes leads to pregnancy.

Assuming that he's not happy and that Michelle deliberately got pregnant is a HUGE JUDGEMENTAL leap. Yes, a far one. Because no one ever gets pregnant accidentally, right?

I know all the quotes and interviews as well, but I've also seen others that completely indicate he is happy.

On the marriage license, their manager simply didn't comment. They're private, and don't feel a need to make public announcements. As they have never confirmed anything publicly: their dating or their pregnancy, why would they make one about a marriage?

And with him working in LA and her being in NY, should he HAVE to stay home in the evening, just because it's Valentine's day? So he went to a club? Come on . . . That's hardly misbehaving.

As for H&M looking unhappy in paparazzi pics: I'd be unhappy if every time I stepped out my door for some mundane normal task, I was followed, too. Can't they pick up their drycleaning already? Heath has said that Michelle is even shyer than he is, and that paparazzi make her miserable. Michelle said, when interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter at the Indie Spirit Awards, that they TRY to look sour when the razzi photograph them so that the pics are not worth selling. She asked for taking down the private party pictures through her lawyers. The fansite didn't post any paparazzi pictures but unfortunately they posted those kind of photos and they didn't know about the photos at that time. She didn't ever ask for deleting the red carpet photos.

Anon2--right, every couple has problems and I have no clue whether this is a sign or serious trouble or not, but it's been well documented that the baby was an accident. Heath said to The Guardian (UK) that he had no idea the baby was conceived.. "our bodies made that decision for us". He also said that when he first met Michelle on the set of BBM, she hurt herself while filming a scene (he was involved in that accident as well and possibly unintentionally contributed to her leg injury)-- he said that after this he always felt "he had to take care of her".. he was also quite distressed by having to have to do love scenes with Jake, he was not comfortable with that at all. No wonder he was happy to retreat to a warm embrace of a girl who is clearly crazy in love with him. The baby came only months into their relationship. It's not a far leap to assume it was Michelle's idea since his previous relationship broke up over his partying and being irresponsible (as it is shown again by him taking girls to a club on Valentine's Day, of all days, instead of being with his wife). He was campaigning very hard for his Oscar, with the requisite declaration of domestic happiness. They both always look sour to me when photographed on the street and she looks extremely insecure of his love. He stopped looking hot when he hooked up with her as if she sucked out all the happiness from him. He looks like a man with a heavy burden. Their manager, btw, denied they got a marriage license. But in this instance, the facts are these:

In the month of February, Mr. Ledger was in Los Angeles to unveil the very first performer for his new music label, Masses Music, a young Australian singer by the name of Grace Woodroofe. After having flown Woodroofe and her mother to L.A., Mr. Ledger has been promoting his new music act around the town and escorting her to her performances. The evening of Valentines Day was simply a manager showing his new performer and friends a night out in a new city.
