With his movie, The Darjeeling Limited, getting a wide release this weekend, Owen Wilson is going to speak out for the first time since his suicide attempt. Usmagazine.com has learned that Wilson, 38, is participating in MySpace's Artist on Artist series with friend and director, Wes Anderson. The segment was filmed on Thursday and will be posted on the networking site on October 26, at midnight pst.
Wilson was rushed to the hospital on August 26 when he was discovered in his Santa Monica home by brother Luke, 35. Since then he has dropped out of a role in the comedy Tropic Thunder, and stayed away from Darjeeling publicity events.
A week after the suicide attempt, Anderson, 38, who has worked with Wilson on four other movies told reporters, "When [Owen] is ready he's going to speak for himself much better than any of us could."
